This really freshened up the the steering wheel of our 2012 Suburban. The steering wheel started to literally shred on one part from use. It was a much better alternative than buying a generic, bulky steering wheel cover. It takes some time and patience to stitch it, but it is well worth it.

I ordered this for my 07 Chevy Tahoe steering wheel that had become sun damaged. It was great quality and a decently snug fit on the wheel, it was just too wide to lace up and have it look professional. The overlap on the inside of the wheel just didn't allow for a clean look. They gladly took it back though.

I hated to throw this out but I was never gonna get it installed. I managed to get it in place and tucked in behind the 4 spokes on my steering wheel, but there remained 4 long flaps of leather on the backside of the spokes that the instructions didn’t even mention what to do with. There was no way I could see to get back there and tuck them in properly as well without taking the wheel off, because you can't see it to work on it! The sewing instructions seem to assume that you already know how to sew, because it showed a threaded needle but no mention if you should run half the thread or (?) through the needle to start. Even at that I thought I’d give it a guess and a try. That’s when I realized that the leather is not pierced at all for the lace up. I attempted to push the supplied needle through the leather only to find that it is NOT at all easy to do - never mind do it 200 - 300 times around the wheel, front & back. I gave up. And I have been restoring motorcycles for 45 years.

Fit is great, install isn't difficult, and the results are top notch. This really cleans up an old steering wheel. The only thing that could go wrong is if it falls apart in the sun prematurely

Ok so I don't normally leave reviews except if products are waaay off from advertised or incredibly good. This one is the latter. I have no experience at all with thread and needle. I can't even put a button on a shirt. Yet the result speakers for itself. I'm amazed at how this turned out and how it feels now. Feels like a luxury car wheel. Word of advise... TAKE TOUR TIME. Don't rush any single part of the process. Yes it's tedious but well worth it.

Highly recommend. Easy install, feels great and looks amazing on my truck. Great interior upgrade. Watched an online video on a similar product for the install and worked out great. Steering wheels feels amazing on the long drives now.
