Does an excellent job for its purpose
Let's face it, when you buy a patch kit like this you are finding the cheapest method to fix a rip in your furniture. This will not bring that furniture back to its former glory. It won't match what a reupholster would do.However, for its purpose, it does an excellent job.I have had a long-standing rip in the faux leather fabric of my wood bend chair. It's been really tough to find a replacement cover since the chair has no tags/markings from the company that made it.For the moment, I decided to buy a patch kit to match the black cover of the faux leather. I was a bit skeptical about going this route because I knew that throwing a simple patch on the front of the chair could be a complete disaster for anyone that saw it.The kit came in a protective envelope with three large patches inside. Now, this was waaaay more than I needed, but for the price, it actually was a value considering that if there were more tears in the chair down the road I would have more patches standing by.I simply measured the rip in the chair and cut the patch to those measurements. Removing the backing of the patch was very easy as was the application. The patch has strong adhesive and after several days, it's still holding up quite well.I have attached photos that you can look at. I only discovered after the fact that there is also a smoothing tool included here which would have helped as there is a slight crease bubble that occurred that I was not immediately able to smooth out.Still, from a normal glance, the patch is not an eyesore. The black color matched the chair perfectly. Now, certainly, it's obvious to anyone who knows that this is a simple patch job, but I would bet anyone could walk into the room take a look at the chair and not immediately pick up that it was patched. In other words, it's not like putting a bad toupe on a bald head. It actually looks good enough that most people won't initially notice.

Surprisingly Good
I have a kidney shaped armpad on my office chair that had the vinyl wear away where my elbow rests. Not a hole; a threadbare area. You should use a quality pair of fabric scissors for this so you get a nice clean edge. I also used a black sharpie to blacken the edge after cutting just to make sure there weren't any light spots. Applies easily, holds firm, and is soft enough to turn down the edges a bit without bunching. Plenty of material if you make a mistake and need to cut again.Recommended.EDIT: 1/31/2022After a full year of use, which means resting my elbow on this patch every single day, this patch is holding up just like the day that I put it on. Highly recommended.

great for small jobs
I got this to fix a tear in my car's leather. It works well, was super easy to apply and so far seems to hold up. The only complaint I have is matching the pattern of the leather but even that isn't a huge complaint as the pattern is fine or very light on this. Overall, a good product for the price.

Sticks well but causes more ripping
This patch sticks very well and is easy to use. It’s an office chair that I use every day. As you can see under the patch it had started to pull apart. The patch was easy to apply however after about a month of daily use, it appears to have caused more tearing all around the edges. It has not peeled off and it’s on the seat so it gets a lot of friction however not sure how much longer until I need to add more patches.

good fix
I thought these types of products would be nothing but vinyl tape, but these patch sheets are better quality than the couch that I'm using them on. The patches were applied to the headrest area, and so far, they are holding up well. Pliable with a good texture and adhesive, but make sure you get it right the first time because these are made to stick and not something you can remove and re-apply.

Sayopin Leather Repair Patch Kits #1
I bought this Sayopin Leather Repair Patch Kits for Car Seats Couches and Elbows to patch a wear/tear on my Ram driver's seat. Right on the left side where the driver's mounting and unmounting just wears a seat cover out. It was a fairly bad opening in the stock seat cover. The foam inside was in view, but hadn't been worn into a cavity yet. The color I chose was a perfect match! When I put it on the seat, over 5 years ago, it was in the summer. I waited until the temperature was in the high 80s or 90s so it would be even more pliable than normal when I put it on. I cut a piece that was about an inch longer than the tear on each end, and about 2" larger on each side. I wanted to have some good coverage. I peeled the cover paper off the adhesive side on one end about an inch, and folded it back. I laid the piece down over the tear, and pressed the adhesive onto the seat. I used a roller, one of those window-screen narrow rollers ( one that I had put a narrow roll of tape into the groove, so it would be like a small tire.), and I rolled it back and forth on the end where the adhesive was bared. It stuck like it had been glued. Then I pulled the paper slowly off the rest of the patch, while I pressed the patch down onto the seat cover. I rolled it back and forth, pressing it down as I pulled the paper off. It stuck like it had been sewed on.I didn't think it would last as long as it has. But it is still there, still has the tear covered up, and seems like it is part of the seat. It hasn't even begun to peel loose on any corner, or along any edge. It is still a great patch, and will probably last as long as me. I really do recommend this patch material. For the price, you won't find a better patch for a worn-out seat.

Looks good at 2+ years
My 2004 Buick has leather upholstery. The driver's backrest developed a hole, up high where it gets a lot of stress (it also appeared to be a thin spot in the leather). It was highly visible. I applied one entire sheet more than two years ago, and it still looks great. The color is a very close match. If I ever sell the car, the patch will certainly be noticed - but at least I don't have to think about it.

Amazed by the results
After contacting so many upholsterers (none of whom will touch bonded leather), I was ready to scrap this couch altogether. I didn’t honestly have much hope that this would do much to fix it, but didn’t have much to lose at that point and decided to give it a try. I was honestly amazed by the results! I have included before and after pictures - the before picture shows some severe tearing in the middle panel and a small tear on the rightmost panel. For the severe tearing I applied a large piece that covered the entire middle panel and you can hardly see that anything was ever wrong, apart from a slightly “bumpy” appearance over where the material tears were. The small tear to the right was covered by a patch of it which you can’t really see from far, but you can see that it’s patched up close. My advice - use large pieces to replace entire sections as the end result will look much better. An excellent product that exceeded my expectations.
