Can I use the book with the Leapreader pen?

I don't have the leapreader pen but the books seem specific to the leapstart in how information is downloaded. Might check the leapfrog website to be sure.

Does this 3d book work on a non 3d leapstart player? the question has been asked twice and not answered correctly. i have an old leapstart player.

According to leapfrog.com, "Books with LeapStart™ 3D logo feature animations on the LeapStart™ 3D system only." So, the 3D books play audio on the older LeapStart system but will not have the 3D animations. I have not tested this personally yet. Is this an item that would work well for a toddler on an airplane or is it too loud?

If you are allowed to have it on the airplane (since it takes batteries, I'm not sure if it's allowed) it would be great as entertainment on an airplane since you can turn the volume down. If you have enough books it would be great.

Will the leap start kindergarten books work with the leapstart PreK system?
