They make my boat fenders look like the Clint Eastwood of boat fenders,
These are sweeeeeeet. I bought these to hang my 24 x 58 Taylor Made Fenders. I made a mistake and thought that the width given was for the opening of the mouth, it is not, it is for the pin. These are jiminy cricket huuuuge. They make my boat fenders look like the Clint Eastwood of boat fenders, they make the fenders look absolutely studly like Rocky (in Rocky 1).The price, compared to stanless, is great. You, your kids, and your great, great, great, great grandkids will be buried before these things rust through so who cares about stainless, these are manly.

I originally bought a 1/2" shackle from a local home improvement warehouse but wasn't happy with the size
I shopped around for a reasonably priced shackle and finally ended up with this one. Since I only needed it for an ATV, I originally bought a 1/2" shackle from a local home improvement warehouse but wasn't happy with the size, fit, and finish. Granted, this one was almost twice as much but it's of a much higher quality and something you'll have forever. For under $12, I'm very happy with it.

These were prime and I love that. Clearly I was paying for prime in the price as these have nothing on anything I can find around town. Nothing against them, but nothing making them way better either. So for price to value, I ding them one star

12 ton size is good w sling
Plan to use with a 4 inch 2 PLY polyester AMH Sling. If I use the sling in basket configuration, sling lift capacity is 24k. Will for the 12 ton Titan Bow anchor shackle is 26,400lb. I estimate my load not to be more than 4 to 8 ton.

I use it with a 50 Ton tow rope to drag loaded trucks threw the mud and snow, and I worry about it being the weak point. The pin and eyelets are true and it screws in and out smoothly.

robust
Solidly made. 7/8" dia pin. WLL cast (4.75 T) on the ring is slightly lower than that printed on the tag.

Actuality doesn’t match pictured descriptions.
Much to the similarities of other reviewers, the color of the shackle pin does not match the pictures. And although it states it’s made by a Canadian company - it’s manufactured in China. Fit and finish is lacking. I’m undecided if I’m going to keep them.

2 years old and going strong
I have now been using a few of these for nearly 2 years. They are outside all summer long and exposed to rain and been out in one winter as connectors for my hammock. They've taken the weight of two adults, very durable and great price!

Strong and Rugged
These are thick, strong, and heavy at a low price. They are both cheaper and stronger than the ones at Home Depot at the same official size. There's nothing much more to say about these. Excellent value. I'm using these for DIY gym during the pandemic and it's serving its purpose very well.

Use on my quad
Installed a 5/8" on my quad's tongue for recovery and tie down. No issues, seems strong. I thought the listing said made in Canada but I don't see it anymore
