These worked perfectly when putting up our fence. Super easy to useEdit-here are a couple pics of how I used. The top wire was thick (pretty sure 10ga) and wouldn't wrap without breaking which is why I used these. As you ca see I got them plenty tight.

While I’ll still prefer a termination knot if the situation is right, these come in handy for time crunches, tight spots on uneven terrain and repairs. The thicker gauge line wires will feed through if you lightly oil up the wire and continue to oil, as needed. Grab the other end of the wire with your fencing pliers or vice grips. You might need to have someone use pliers to grab a hold of the Gripple on the other side. Just in case the pliers slide loose, don’t put your teeth in line with the wire when pulling.

Once you get the hang of these, they go on pretty quick. Although having extra hands/help makes them easier to attach. Time will tell if they'll stay put.

I bought 6 bags of these for installing 47” red top field fence for my goats. These gripples are a huge timesaver over tying termination knots for 10 strands of fence. The problem is they DO NOT work for the 10g top and bottom wires. Only the 8-14g middle strands.Product description states “10g-14g” wire sizes which is false. There were also 3 or 4 that were defective, the plastic inside did not grip the wire, and when I tugged the insides fell out.

Saves time and works well for 6' high knotted fencing that I installed myself alone for deer exclusion fencing. Couldn't have done the job without this item

Easy to use and grips tight!

These things are impossible to get tight enough to hold tension. The hooks kept slipping their grip on the wire and it would not hold tension while doing field fence. Looked like a great solution but just really poor design.

This gripple product made my fencing job way easier. Not a one failed would definitely order again.
