Good pump very powerful, works great for my 3 story home with 4 bathrooms . No leaks not too loud in basement , had 35 psi now have 65 psi , use a lot of good teflon tape and get ready for that Great water pressure . Easy install . Hope this helps . Definitely one the best home water boosters on the market had for almost 5 years and hope to get alot more years out of it

I bought an old house and even though I have city water, I only had 20 psi water pressure. I don’t know how the previous owner put up with it. I installed this booster pump and exactly as described, was now pushing 70 psi. Prior to purchasing, My biggest reservation after reading the reviews was a problem with leaks. I also had leaking at the flex pipe. I wound up removing the flex pipe altogether since I installed everything with pex. Also make sure you install a pressure regulator on the supply line upstream of the booster pump. Even though this unit is a little pricier than some of the others, I bought this one because of the controls. I have zero regrets and would highly recommend this unit as it has worked perfectly since I got the leakage under control

Great pumps. This is my second one; the first one lasted for seven years, and then the controller failed, but the pump itself is still fine and has been kept as a backup. The pump is strong, quiet, and delivers a very good pressure boost while still being very energy efficient. The pump itself has had no leaks, though getting a good leakproof connection at the input can be a bit of a challenge.

I have been using a Davey pressure booster pump at my house since 2003 and am now on the third one, an average life of over seven years per pump. As others have stated, the pump is easy to install, just be sure to put a pressure regulator on the output side (my input pressure is about 33 PSI and the output, without regulator is 85 PSI, with regulator dialed down to 55 PSI). I would also suggest putting a union in the input line so the pump can be swapped out easily.If you have low municipal water pressure then this is a very good solution to the problem.

I bought the BT20-30T2 to replace a Grundfos Scala2 that started leaking after about 2 years. This one appears to be more powerful and better built. It's also less noisy. The output connection is 1" and comes with a flex pipe connection. That's great. The intake connection is 1-1/4" which needed a few adapters to reduce it to 3/4" pressure regulator. Once you get the correct fittings, the installation becomes a straight forward. You need to add a pressur regulator before the pump to keep the entered pressure at 30psi. The pump adds 50psi and you get 80psi out. I added a guage at the out line to read what pressure is coming out. It's at 80 psi constantly. It has been installed and running for a week now. I am just hoping that it will not leak for a long time.

Leaks, pump comes on all the time due to leaking down pressure. Needs a pressure valve about $200 between pump and supply tank. Needs a padded foot mount to reduce vibration. I have three of them due to break downs. Pumps dont rebuild well either. Worked great initially. 🥴 extremely tired of messing with these pumps. Likely a pressure tank would reduce pump cycling? Not sure, but with valve, tank and pump your in over 1k. Very disappointed. I ordered another rebuild kit 2 months ago. Never got it. Those are $80. Maybe they are out of them due to customer pump failures? Sad to say, but harbor freight may be the better option? At least they know their stuff sucks and will just give you another one everytime you need it. Just need to come up with a pressure activating switch...

Installed the Davey Water Products BT20-30T2-USA Home Pressure Booster Pump to boost water pressure in our home. We're still trying to find and fix all the micro-leaks in our water system so the pump isn't constantly cycling, but after that, we should be good to go. The pump is kind of loud. I figure I will need to surround it with a box to deaden the sound. We'll see how it's doing in a year.2025 Update: I added the small Davey Pressure Tank in order to reduce the On/Off frequency of the pump. It only helped a minor amount. I also figured out how to boost H2O pressure in the house from 30psi up to 65psi by changing a setting on the pressure control valve. That has made all the difference in taking showers and running appliances.
