Buy it!
I've enjoyed these speakers for quite some time. This was a purchase to get me on to my next pair. So now running 2 pairs of them. It is a hard wired speaker so this is not a battery. They are highly durable, the performance and clarity are excellent. The only thing that can get a little confusing is the wiring configuration so you may to trial and error it a few times to validate the sound. I've had my first set since about 2014 sitting in outdoor garden w/ water exposure and they still sound great so their are durable. At one point I recall Klipsch was claiming to have lifetime warranty but I think that's long gone. But a really nice speaker. Takes a licking and keeps on playing beautifully.

They're grrrreat!
These are great, and look good near my pool. I've got these in a flowerbed on the far side of my pool and a pair of polk atrium 6 speakers on the near side. The sound quality is very good, and having the extra speakers means I can have the volume set much lower while still being able to hear music in the pool. It prevents me from annoying my neighbors. When it's time for a party, they get plenty loud and still sound great. I run all four speakers in mono. I found that I enjoyed the music more this way. The two-channel input on a single speaker is a bit how-ya-doin, but it's easy enough to connect them in the more standard one channel configuration. These do include an internal crossover so it's not a problem. I guess it didn't cost klipsch more than a few cents to placate the foolish audiophiles who can magically discern the difference.

Great speakers with Klipsch Powergate amp.
I never was in doubt about buying these speakers, I have Klipsch Towers inside and they sound amazing. My only question was what to power them with. After reading reviews and deciding on what I wanted and what I was willing to spend, I ended up with the Klipsch powergate. I have each speaker wired as a 1 channel 4 ohm and the volume is set at around 40% so it has plenty more to give. I love the amp with this set up because once you connect your phone to it you don't have to power it on or off. I just reconnect my phone and the powergate turns on and shuts off when I am done. Speakers look amazing and go well with my stone landscaping. Highly recommend on looks and sounds. Only thing left for me is to hide the cable and I am done. The amp does have an output for a sub which isn't needed but if I find a powered outside sub that I like I may added just because I can.

They fit right in!
I recently installed a set of rock speakers in my backyard, and I have to say, they have completely transformed my outdoor space into an inviting oasis. These speakers are designed to blend seamlessly into natural surroundings, mimicking the look of real rocks, which makes them perfect for gardens, patios, or pool areas. Design & Aesthetics: The realistic rock-like appearance is impressive. They are sturdy, weather-resistant, and look very natural, adding a decorative touch without compromising on style. They come in various sizes and colors, allowing for versatile placement. Sound Quality: Despite their discreet appearance, these speakers deliver surprisingly clear and balanced sound. The bass is decent for outdoor speakers, and the volume can fill a large yard comfortably. They are ideal for casual listening, parties, or background music. Durability & Weather Resistance: Built to withstand rain, sun, and other outdoor elements, these speakers are durable and require minimal maintenance. I've had them installed for several months, and they still look and sound great. Installation & Connectivity: Installation is straightforward, especially if you have some basic wiring skills. They connect via standard speaker wires, and most models include mounting brackets for easy placement. Overall: Rock speakers are an excellent choice for anyone looking to enhance their outdoor entertainment setup without sacrificing aesthetics. They provide good sound quality, durability, and a natural look that complements outdoor environments beautifully. Pros: Realistic rock design Weatherproof and durable Good outdoor sound quality Easy to install Cons: Slightly more expensive than standard speakers Sound quality is good but not audiophile-level If you're aiming for a discreet, attractive way to enjoy music outdoors, rock speakers are definitely worth considering! Quality isn't cheap. Nor is a lifetime warranty.
I've had a set of Boston Acoustic rock speakers for several years now. Not 100% sure how long they have lasted...10 years maybe in the Midwest weather, always outside. When one went out last week it was off to find its replacement. I was debating Bose, the wall mount, but I liked that my old ones sat in the landscaping unnoticed, so I pulled the tigger. First, the color is way better. My old ones were a "light granite" that stuck out a little more. These blend right in. They were about the same weight...Klipsch are a little taller. Wiring was the same as a two channel speaker (right and left in one), but I hook them up as one channel each (right and left). They are far enough apart that they still work in stereo and you don't lose that cool effect when songs take advantage of the stereo sound. (guitar riff maybe out of one speaker then vocals start out of the other). I took the blown one out, and placed the first one. I then used the balance control to go back and forth between the old and the new. The Klipsch was FAR AND AWAY better sound. To be fair, the Boston's had seen better days but they still sounded good...until they went up against the Klipsch. So, I have zero regret. They look great and sound great. Shipping was fast, excited to get them rocking on a pool day....if we ever see the sun again.

These have exceeded my expectations. Sound really good... I have about 45 feet between them for simple stereo separation. The midrange and upper treble levels are cristal clear and even with the relatively small speakers the bass response is very good. I would definitely recommend these to anyone. This is not my first attempt at outside speakers and I really like these.!
