Really great product and makes shaving my husband easier.

Very easy to use and works very well. Use a small amount, cover your face, let the lotion dry, and then shave. Provides for a smooth close, shave with no irritation. The electric shave is about as close as a wet shave with a brush and safety razor, which I used for years, but I stopped using since my hands are not as steady as they used to be. This lotion is a great product and not that expensive.

I've used Williams 'Lectric Shave for a very long time. I've always worn a full beard that drops to my jaw line, leaving my neck bare. The Williams product I'd splash on, and absolutely skims over skin providing a closet trim/shave. Afta send to be really good stuff. The scent is lighter than Williams (and I like it better). But the Afta cream has to be rubbed on, and with a full beard it's tough rubbing something on your neck avoiding the beard. My best sense is that a beardless face, where Afta can be rubbed in palms and then applied your full face, might be a better "shaving" product, nicer scent than Williams 'Lectric, and leaves your skin a bit softer. It's far easier to splash Williams over just my neck and trim there.

This is a great product I've been using it for years it disappeared from retail then later showed up at Amazon a little bit higher but I'll still pay for it because it's better than anything else I've ever used.

Ok, item could be a bigger container for the price charged. The item did smell good and was thick as applied.

I use foil-type electric shavers and, as I've aged, I've had trouble getting a clean shave in areas under my jaw and on my neck where the whiskers are getting softer. (I'll confess, it's made worse by the fact that I don't shave every day any more). The Afta preps my beard and helps the whiskers stand up (and possibly stiffen) so the shaver picks them up and I get a cleaner shave. I recently skipped using it one day when I was in a hurry and I could really tell the difference.
