Enjoyable fun!
These are super fun to play with and a great value. The only weird thing is that there are different nib sizes on the pens. I can't find any reason for that, but it does provide more play. I haven't had any leakage and the quality seems great. I'm happy they have replacement ink so that even though they are disposable, I don't have to dispose of them!

Pretty, Great Fountain Pens
Great colors, write very smoothly, every pen in set started to flow easily and the pens feel good in hand. I am really happy I found these, I had to wait to order because they were not available. I'm glad I did, I've tried several brands of inexpensive fountain pens and these are my new favorite.

A steal for the money! Love them!
My first foutain pen is the Zebra V-301. I still have it but the cap does not snap any more to the tail of the pen. This makes if unconfortable to use at times, remember the cap on the tail is to help with the writing experience, even for these cheap ones. So, what I like about these fountain pens is that the cap still snaps to the front end, but is a compresion fit to the tail end of the pen. I don't see it failing like my Zebra fountain pen. What I also like is the fine nib, I am a lefty writter so, the fine nib is a super plus, a necessity for me. Being a lefty with fountain pens you have to learn to be graceful when writting, and these are some smooth writting fountain pens for the price. These pens write just as nice as my MONTEVERDE fountain pen. I love them as they are, but I still like to suggest some medium nib choices too. Thanks Ooly!! :-)

Soft playful colors for little notes.
I’ve been using affordable fountain pens for at least 15 years now. Of course, I’ve my high-end, old-fashioned fountain pens but since I’m a writer a need something ready to go in a daily basis. Therefore, a disposable good quality blue or black pen usually is my first choice. I bought these Ooly pens because I was drawn to the cheerfulness and variety of their colors. “Varsity” non-refillable fountain pens are my favorites and the brand do handle assorted colors too. However, the Ooly’s looked like cotton candy and I wanted them for making notes in my daily planner, even though I was aware they might require some work beforehand. They made the cut! Nevertheless, it has to be pointed out that you’ve to prepare the cartridge to get the ink flowing when you use them for the first time. It takes a few minutes to open the pen, turn the cartridge upside down and get the ink flowing into the steel nib. So, if you’re new to ink cartridges you may think the pens are somehow flawed. They’re not. The colors are a beauty, soft and playful. Nonetheless, the writing experience isn’t smooth nor expressive as the “Varsity’s”. The Ooly ‘s may serve the little note writing purpose but they won’t stand for a journaling writing job.

Lovely smooth writing
I’m a huge nerd for pens, especially specialty pens like these. My collection is massive. But these are at the forefront of that collection because they have the most even and smooth ink flow, in such interesting colors! I really love these pens and I think they’re pretty fun to write with or color with! I’m fairly certain that they’re refillable based on the ink cartridges needing to be snapped inside, into the pen body to break the seal.

Very Pretty, OK quality
They’re ok. Mine all work but some are certainly better than others. The blue is great, writes well enough to use as an every day pen for quick writing. The pink and red are next. The other colors are very pretty they just don’t flow as nicely. I believe it’s the ink more than the pen. I think the pens are of good quality for the cost. They’ll all work well for use in a planner or on a calendar as well as for sketching. I’m likely going to get black and blue refills to use in the super cute soft finished bodies.

Love these pens!
They are my favorites! Best company to get standard ink sizes in multiple colors. And their pens are affordable.

Colorful, Creative, and So Much Fun to Use!
I recently picked up the Ooly Color Write Fountain Pens, and they’ve quickly become a favorite in my stationery collection! These pens are perfect for anyone who loves writing with a bit of flair. Each pen writes in a vibrant, eye-catching color that makes journaling, note-taking, and even doodling way more exciting. The ink flows smoothly and consistently—no skips or blobs—and the lightweight design makes them super comfortable to hold for long writing sessions. I especially love that they’re refillable, which is a huge plus for sustainability and long-term use. While they’re probably not for super formal documents or calligraphy purists, they’re perfect for creative writing, bullet journaling, or just brightening up your day with a splash of color. The nibs give a nice balance of precision and fun, and the colors really pop on the page. Highly recommend for students, creatives, or anyone who just wants to bring some personality to their penmanship!

Decent starter pens, great deal for the price.
Using these to teach penmanship and occasionally add colour pops to my own notes. These pens have nice sturdy nibs for beginners. I collect fountain pens but the nibs on my own pens are too delicate to let my kids use- these Ooly pens have been perfect for 8-10 year old to use without bending or damaging the nibs. Pens are also light and easy for them to manipulate. Ink flow is decent, the barrel is wide enough to encourage a good grip and the pens don’t leak. Ooly has instructional videos to troubleshoot ink install and getting the pens set up. Only major con is the price of refill ink. Yikes.
