Great little guitar!
Bought this for my 1 year olds birthday present. His dad plays the guitar for a living and has always been around it. Pure joy on his face when received. A month into owning it and it is always in his hand. It’s taken a good beating and has held up well! It did crack along the edge from a drop however it has held up well despite the little crack. It doesn’t sound pretty to an adult but to a one year old, he couldn’t have been happier! I was happy with such the low cost! Only real lame part is the pick is heart shaped. We will probably buy it again for him if he needs a replacement.

Held up to months of abuse from a toddler.
I bought this for my son who was around 18 months old. He got really interested in my guitar at that age so I thought it would be cool for him to have one too. He's used and abused it for months now andit still looks brand new. He really beats up on it and it's held together great. Even the strings are still holding up.One tip is to take some tape and cover the outside ofthe box that it comes in. I made a couple handles and at night I have him "put the guitar alseep in it's case". He loves to play along and it teaches him to take care of his stuff.

durability a problem
Plastic started to separate within a few days. My son loves it so I am going to replace THIS time.

Was ok while it lasted
I purchased this guitar after a friend recommended it to me. Her toddler has been using this for music time daily, but my friend is smart and puts it away once she’s done. I was not so careful and sadly this guitar lasted only a month for us before my 1 year old demolished it. This is definitely a cheap guitar and does not have a very nice sound quality or good strings and you cannot tune it. It is the type of guitar you buy for your toddler first to see if they will use it before upgrading to a more quality version. This will NOT last long in the hands of a crazy toddler who likes to be rough and throw items (like mine). My 1 yr old literally smashed this and broke it in half. On the positive side, this product was very inexpensive so I wasn’t too heartbroken that he broke it, but just know that it IS flimsy and delicate. If you are smart like my friend and monitor use of it then it will work out well, but honestly, who has time for all of that with a toddler? You certainly get what you pay for here. Don’t expect a high quality item. I do recommend it though as a starter item to see if your kiddo will even be interested in a guitar before buying a more expensive one.

Fairly durable, good size, fun
Fairly durable, plastic guitar. Looks nice and was the highlight of my 2 year olds birthday! It has been knocked around a bit for the last month and is still like new.

A great toy!
My husband plays guitar and my son is obsessed with it. (He’s only 1) So I got him this for his birthday and he absolutely loves it. It’s stricly a toy, not fancy or tunable, but it’s a lot of fun. It doesn’t produce a horrible sound either. ;)

Doesn’t make a guitar sound!
Doesn’t make any sound! I knew it wasn’t going to be great because of the price but I at least expected it to make sound. We got a guitar for $5 that makes sound just like a guitar. You can’t tune it and it’s easy to break, but it makes sound, so I guess I thought this one would be about the same. If you want your kid to be able to make a guitar sound, don’t get this! You can barely hear it, which is nice for parents but very disappointing for kids!!!

Sturdy
2.5 year old LOVES it. I assumed this would provide a week of fun before it got destroyed. Surprisingly durable and able to handle toddler abuse. This guitar has been through a lot and still hasn't broken. It doesn't actually SOUND good (just sort of rubbery strings) but as a toy it does the job.
