Because of a neck injury I sustained back in 2009, I’ve learned the hard way that the right pillow can make or break a night’s sleep. They were available in Charcoal Grey, and for less than £15 for a set of two, it seemed like a no-brainer. They arrived the next day with Prime delivery, and I was instantly impressed. The colour was perfect — rich, deep, and unmistakable, so there’s no chance they’ll ever blend in with standard hotel bedding. The stitching and craftsmanship were excellent, too, far better than I expected for the price. Now, I’ve always preferred Egyptian cotton for my bedding, usually opting for a 400-thread count, but these are 500-thread count, and you can feel the difference immediately. The fabric has that luxurious, smooth texture you only get with high-quality cotton — soft against the skin, but with enough weight and structure to feel substantial. A few days after they arrived, I took one on a business trip, and I have to say, it was bliss. The case fit my pillow perfectly — snug but not tight — and it felt cool, soft, and breathable throughout the night. No irritation, no overheating, just pure comfort. After returning home, I washed both pillowcases to see how they held up, and again, they didn’t disappoint. No shrinkage, no colour fade, and no distortion — they came out of the wash looking as good as new. For under £15, this set is an absolute bargain. The quality is genuinely impressive, and the comfort level rivals bedding I’ve bought for triple the price. Plus, the added benefit of having a clearly identifiable pillowcase for travel is a simple but clever solution that’s saved me a lot of worry. When these pillowcases first arrived they felt more silky than cottonny, so I can understand why some people felt they weren't cotton, however, it's worth noting that if a sateen weave is combined with long staple fibers (like in Egyptian cotton) the material can feel smooth and almost silky prior to washing. We washed these before using them and straight after the wash they stopped feeling silky and felt soft like cotton. The material is also quite thick and feels good quality. For the price, I would buy again, even if they turned out not to be cotton, because in our experience they are soft, comfortable, the colour does not bleed, they wash well and are good value for money!

Excellent Egyptian Coton well-made any drawback was I got the king size which is too big for my pillows that the qualities excellent well worth the money but next time I buy the right size I’m going to give them to my nephew. He’s got a king size bed so they will suit him. I’ve only used the pillowcases once so once I wash them, they’ll be brand new again.

Lovely size pillowslips that are soft to touch and don't seem to wrinkle, they are lovely on your skin and great value for money too.

El color es muy vivo como quería, son suaves y no me hacen sudar (hay fundas que sí). La única pega es que en las fotos parece que tienen una cremallera o algo por lo que se ven muy compactas. EN la realidad no queda así porque sólo están cerradas de un lado y si las quieres para poner de respaldo... no funciona por eso. Igualmente para dormir, están bien.
