Fresh Sugar Strawberry Exfoliating Face Wash Cleanser Women 4.2 oz

I’ll start… I have dry skin. (Yes, it is part of my identity, I’ve tried hiding it, getting help for it and now, I’ve come to embrace it. ) Not just ‘common’ or ‘normal’ dry skin, but the kind were you have dry patches, you itch literally all the time, most foundations just magnify the flurries that now appear to be spackled to the surface of your face. Removing too tight clothing looks like hand-me-downs from The Michelin Man with ring around powdered sugar, and you can put straight lanolin on at night and not have any to wipe off in the am because your largest organ sopped it up like a sponge! Yet, you’ve been told by countless doctors, dermatologists and naturalpaths that you don’t have any common skin disorders (rosacea, eczema, psoriasis ect) your vitamin levels are perfect, and it’s not allergy related… Believe me when I say that I’ve tried every trick, treatment, herbal remedy, salve, balm, lotion, serum, mask, gadget, grandma’s secret recipe, as well as Eastern and Western hocus-pocus under the sun. I even went completely vegan for over five years and I’ve been wheat free (including gluten) for decades. Nothing helped. So, I started to embrace what I have and except that ‘I will never have perfect skin’. In reality I just wanted comfortable skin. Many products, combinations and years later TA-DA!! You could still classify my skin as dry- technically. It will get a little tight if I don’t put something on once I get out of the shower or after I wash my face, but it is light years ahead of where it was. This strawberry exfoliating cleanser has helped heal my skin. I use it typically every other day or every two days depending on how I feel and what I did that day. On the other days I use a cleansing balm ( I’m sure any would do- the specific one I use is from Chantecaille). The smell of this exfoliant is kinda stimulating to be honest especially when combined with the texture. Your schnoz receptors are first enveloped with the lush essence of ripe strawberries. While your face becomes enrobed with a gentle silken - cashmere cocoon. Next, fluffy icing particles coordinate a rhythmic articulation of “Boot Scootin’ Boogie” as they scrounge up any sloughed off flakes while polishing to perfection. The tiny sugar flakes melt into your skin. No need to follow up with a cleansing balm for extra moisture when you’re done. The strawberry scrub takes care of you, leaving your face clean, bright, moisturized and smelling amazing. My pores look like pores. Not craters. And not veneered via airbrush. I complete my routine with an essence water and a general moisturizer with squalane.
