Awesome addition for kids, Not so thrilling for adults
This is a pretty cool piece of engineering right here. Of course my husband ordered it "for the grandkids" but we all know it was really for him. He was slightly disappointed that the periscope didn't have more of a range. It doesn't turn side to side or up and down quite enough for his tastes. However, if you are ACTUALLY buying it for a child, suffice it to say, they will be thrilled. Well, they will once they figure it out. I have to say that our 2 1/2 year old grandson wasn't terribly thrilled at first. He really really wanted to be, though, since Grandpa was obviously excited about the thing. Whenever he'd look through it, though, all he saw was sky. I don't think he got the point that he was seeing up and over the opening in the (incredibly awesome playset that my husband built for them). At any rate, pretty soon grandma (me) came to the rescue. I stood on the opposite side, so my grandson could finally see something other than sky. Once he saw me "through" the playset, he was beyond thrilled. All in all, great for kids. For grandpas or dads, you might want to step it up a notch. ;)

My son loves it!
This periscope actually works surprisingly well. We attached it to his play house, he absolutely loves it. I think this would is a great addition to any play house, tree house, or jungle gym.

Pretty good quality, really works, kids love it!
Fun, and it really works! I'll bring it inside during the winter because it doesn't seem like it'll survive many harsh Wyoming winters, but I think it's a reasonable quality for the price and the kids are having lots of fun with this and the matching telescope.

Works Great. Kids Love it. Great addition to the Backyard Playground
It's good. My 2-year old loves it already and will probably get many years of use out of this. Not a big fan of the swivel mechanism. Not a huge range of motion and pops off surprisingly easy for a tough outdoor toy. Not horrible though. She will have to be a little easy and learn to put it back, but otherwise it seems tough, works great, and should last a very long time. Me and the little one are both happy with this purchase.

Easy to install. The kids love it.

Fine for the money
Works fine for our playhouse but it arrived missing a piece. Even with the new piece it’s still a little wobbly. It’s fine for my 3 year old but my 7 year old wasn’t impressed.
