Back to the drawing board!
I truly wanted to love this leash. My first gripe is that it’s purpose of hands free isn’t true. If you are going to use so that you can run with you dog, than you will have a problem with the auto lock feature. The issue is, when you are running your arms swing back and forth, this motion in itself causes the auto lock feature to engage ultimately tanking your dog throughout the run. The second main issue is the new lock button. Not only is it useless, it’s impossible to quickly engage, you’d be better off just grabbing the leash itself. Not to mention it doesn’t offer and full lock feature, one literally needs to keep the button depressed the entire time for it to work, makes zero sense because when wearing on your wrist you have to use your other hand to press and hold the button, this does not work well if your running. I praise the concept however I feel it need to come a long way to justify the price and purpose. The last thing I will point out is the leash clasp which is lacking quality and does not feel sturdy if you were to be using on a dog over 10lbs. I wish I had some suggestions on how this could be easily improved, but I feel that it needs to go back to the drawing board and thought out better.

Perfect hands free leash
Love this product for a true leash free dog walking experience. It is a little bulky and can be a little tricky to control your pup, as you might with any retractable leash.
