Ergonomics are excellent, it is virtually silent
I bought one of these, but the slightly less fancy 900RB (no 'tilt' adjust seat) nearly a decade ago. I was a high-level competitive amateur cyclist throughout my 20s and 30s, averaging 250+ miles a week open road training, so I know bikes. My then-fiance and now wife and I have used this bike 3-4 times a week each, so that's 6-8 uses weekly for going on a decade. It has never hiccuped, save for the servo motor going out twice--once under warranty at around 4.5 years (cheerfully replaced for free), and just now at over 9 years. Cost? $30 and change for shipping. Replacement? Takes about 15 minutes with a phillips screwdriver, a single socket and bike crank remover available at any shop for $5-10 bucks, a 5/6" open end wrench and four teensy zip ties to reattach the wires that simply plug in. The thing self-calibrates when you turn it on.Ergonomics are excellent, it is virtually silent, and it uses over-engineered bearings and an auto serpentine belt for drive that would be equally easy to replace... but it isn't even frayed or cracked--and I hammer this thing, using virtually all the ample resistance on intervals! I am 6'2" and long-legged and there's plenty of adjustment in the seat track; my wife is 5'6" and she's fine, plus the track has another couple inches left at the short end of the range. I put a piece of plexiglass on a music stand and surf the net, read the paper, and watch movies or read emails while riding. Only related gripe is the 'tyrannosaurus rex' handlebars, which aren't good for much--though you can lean forward and put your knuckles or fingertips on them for variety when spinning fast (so you don't bounce off the otherwise fantastic mesh seat back).Buy one. You will love it.

Great Recumbent Bike!
Just got this to replace an older Proform recumbent bike. There is no comparison between the two. First, this thing is TINY compared to the Proform - 44" long versus 65", so it takes up way less space. I'm 6' tall yet fit very well on it - the seat is easy to adjust. Second, it is soooooo quiet while riding; no more blasting the TV so I can hear it while riding. It is self powered but it does have an wall adapter you can use to, among other things, set up user profiles (so you don't have to pedal while creating them). It has twelve programs, pulse monitor, timer, speed, etc., pretty much everything you need. Nothing fancy but it's exactly what I wanted. Plus it is really comfortable, and the mesh back is great. Love this bike!

Great idea..bad result
I ordered the bike after going to a local store to test it out. It seemed to function like a gym level bike. When the bike arrived, the box looked like it had been through combat. After putting the bike together, the computer was broken as well as several other parts.I contacted Lifecore. They were VERY helpful. They sent me all the replacement parts. *** The bike still did not work.I returned the bike for a refund.

Not for the Petite Woman
We needed to have the bike customized as it does not fit someone who is 5'1".
