Hi to answer your question do I need to turn them upside down to charge the answer is no you have a plastic loop on the top which you can hang it up bye and they charge up in sun light there great on a night changing colour Hope that this helps you thanks

Stunning

These pool lights have been greatly admired by our friends and neighbours. They are absolutely beautiful and robust. They've lasted for several years in the pool but have turned a little grubby now. I've just ordered another 4 pack and will hang the existing old lights among the Oleander trees.

These were not as good as I had thought, they are like blow up beach balls, not sturdy and reallyDisappointed for the money. Wouldn’t suggest buying them.
