This works perfectly with my Nvidia Tesla P40 (P41) card. I was able to connect two 8 pin PCI-E connectors to this, and this plugged right into the Tesla P40 . The card operates well.

I needed an extra plug for a graphics card that my ATX power supply did not provide as the computational card I was installing required not merely separate plugs, but entirely separate lines for each input. The K 80 is a power-hungry card but does its job well.

Works to connect two (2) PCIe 8-pin power cables to one (1) CPU 8-pin for the GPU. If you want to be extra safe, remember to use two separate PCIe 8-pin power cables, instead of one PCIe cable with two ends.
