The light fitting is lovely. Couple of issues with it for me...The bulbs are far too bright for a low hanging light, so I'll need to buy new ones. Given these bulbs are worth about £8 each, this makes the light fitting somewhat expensive overall, unless the bulbs work for you.The top of the light fitting is like a pendulum - I assume this is to allow for various types of fitting of the light, but for me, it does sit slightly off center as a result. I expect for my personal use I may glue the pendulum so it hangs straight, since I don't need or want it to move.

Overall I am very pleased with this product. I purchased 2 of these for my lounge and dining area.They arrived well packaged and with adequate fitting instructions.Good Points:- The light fitting feels robust - it is metal rather than plastic and there is nothing flimsy about the feel of it- Assembly is straightforward. Just add more sections of the screw in down tube for a lower suspension height. My ceilings are standard 1970s 'barely 8 feet high', so I fit mine without using any of the included additional sections and cut the wire length to suit otherwise there would have been a lot of excess to have to deal with safely concealing- The bracket which fastens to the ceiling only needs 2 screws and I found the hole positioning allowed me to reuse the existing fixing holes that the standard pendant rose was fastened to. The screw holes were already in the joist so the supplied rawplugs were not needed. I did also decide to use a longer screw than the ones supplied, but I am sure they would have been adequate to hold it securely.- The globe bulbs cast a very good, even light pattern, but it is quite bright (they are classed as 'Cool White'). That type of LED bulb is readily available in other 'colour temperatures' if a warmer yellow light or a daylight white is preferred.Points to Note:- The supplied connector is for a straight 3 wire connection. Most household ceiling lighting is likely to be on a loop type wiring system, so might require an additional connector to account for the loop wires- The fittings are quite cumbersome and although one person can attach the wires and then fasten to the ceiling bracket, it would be better as a 2 person job. The final bracket attachment is by 2 bolts protruding from the bracket. the 'nuts' are cylindrical and chromed to match the fitting, with a plastic washer that would be quite fiddly to attach on your own

I must admit I did have a problem with my order, but in all due respect, the company were extremely professional.This is a stunning piece of kit. With a dimmer switch it would be magnificent.

This is a great light fitting . Came with four Edison l e d bulbs as well so didn’t need to purchase separately. The light makes a great feature in the room and you can angle up / down or lights to the side .

Looks as good as it does in the pics.Bought for a fairly dark room, & kicks out a huge amount of light. Can also be fitted without any of the 4 x extension bars (25cm each), so can sit close to ceiling if wanted.Only down side - blew one of the bulbs after 2 weeks, but probably our electrics!!!Otherwise, highly recommended.
