Wetsuits Shorts with Pocket Men Oversize 3mm Neoprene Scuba Diving Shorts Tech

Overall the product is good and as expected. Plenty of room in the pockets for gear, and they're quite comfortable but the waist strap doesn't seem very long. For me, they're plenty fine and I'm a size 32 waist, but much bigger and it might be a stretch. My only real complaint is the logo in white on the pocket, either it wasn't in the pictures, or I didn't see it, but part of the reason I chose this particular pair was because of the simplistic design in what I thought was basic black (no logos) so that was a bit disappointing. However, I kept them because I know that scuba gear is more about function than fashion, and compared to others on the market these seem to be the best quality at their current price point.

This item is a great way to add some additional pockets to your scuba setup especially is you are diving with backplate and wing. The zippers on the pockets can be a bit challenging to open with one hand underwater at first but once you do it enough times it is not a problem. I really like to small plastic D rings inside of the pockets. Those small D rings allow you to use a double ended boltsnap to secure what items you put in the pockets.

I really like the fit of these dive pocket chaps, the Velcro thigh straps, and the double waist band/ belts (one Velcro and one clip connection). They are comfortable and do not add much buoyancy. BUT they fell apart the first dive trip. I only dove 7 dives and the pockets started raveling. I bought two pairs of these for my husband and me, and both had pockets come apart due to un-raveling cloth. The pockets are a nylon material with a plastic backing. It is a shame because I really like these pocket pants. Luckily I sew a lot and am experimenting to try to remake the pockets. But I paid a lot of money to have to fix them after the first weekend trip, hence the 1 star rating.Note to manufacturer: Use different material for the pockets! either a thinner neoprene or something that will not un-ravel. Please. These are great otherwise. I have so many comments about them and people wanting them when they see us wearing them.
