** Update after 3-months of use **After three months of week-day use (plugging and unplugging it twice a day) the micro-to-USB cord quit working. I took it apart and found that one of the wires at the male end had broke off a soldered terminal inside the sheathing. I used this cord to connect my phone to my car, so I was really surprised to see that it failed after such a short time of extremely light duty use.I gave this 2 stars because it worked for a while.**My initial review**Works great for connecting my Galaxy S5 to my Tactrix OpenPort 2.0.

This was not what I was looking for. I wanted to put my android galaxy tablet on my tv and none of these helped. I searched amazon for that application and read the description and some reviews to confirm what I was getting. none of these did what I needed. They all basically plug into your android and let you plug a usb into it. I think one lets you use a hdmi mini though

Came quickly in perfect condition. Was able to use it immediately for a conversion to reduce a regular usb to a female end usb that has a male micro usb to go into my android phonedown to a micro usb attached to a bluetooth to charge via my android...if that makes any sense....Did the job and I am charging!!! Should also work with my smart watch to connect over to my android phone as well....we shall see

Everyone needs these if you use devices. Great quality - great price. Glad I bought.

Would not transfer from my canon camera to my kindle but they do work with computer

Didn't work for Android tablet with an external hard drive.

Improper connectors. Rather useless for going from Fire tablet to HDMI.

None of these cables allowed me to hook my tablet up to my tv.
