Its cut smaller than I thought but excellent life jacket
Purchased for 6 and 7 year old who are good swimmers to swim in lake. Kids loved wearing life jacket to just float around. This is my favorite of 2 brands which I bought because it works great. I would say it is small though. Ideal age kid 5-6. Its very tight on my 7 year old and very little room to adjust.

Great Quality and Perfect Fit
I hardly ever write reviews, but this product definitely deserves one. It fits my 7-year-old son perfectly, and he absolutely loves it. The vest arrived exactly as pictured and described, and the quality exceeded my expectations. We are very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend it.

Finally a Life Vest that Fits!
We purchased the Red 50-90Lbs vest for our 4 1/2 yr old. He weighs 44.5 Lbs and he's 45in tall. He's big for his age but this vest is a perfect fit so hopefully this information will help another parent looking for a life vest. Also it does NOT have a crotch strap but it is USCG Approved.

vest for gifts.
i bought two as a gift for a friend of mine in Sri Lanka. It is hard to find children size life vest there and Amazon refuse to sent anything across the water. These i think will be fine. they do seem to run small. and i was surprised that the sides are actually open...with just straps to keep closed. not sure why i thought it would be solid sides. The price is good. i am sending two vest for weight size 50 pounds. the neck does look kinda tiny. but the children there is pretty tiny so it may be fine. top strap doesn't have any room to loosen up the belt. Hopefully these will work. if so, i will order a few more for him. he lives near the beach and there are plenty of children in the neighborhood that can uses these.
