Making Silver Jewellery

Good basic starter book

I know next to nothing about working with metal to make jewellery. I am a glass fused and I tend to buy silver findings for my own glass cabochons. Having read this book, I want to try designing and making my own. The step by step instructions and the diagrams make it look easy. So far I have grasped the piercing saw, next soldering! I can't recommend this book highly enough

Book arrive greta condition, very very nicely published, good design, but its much less !!! info, then i expected, like twice less, to be honest.by description i been expecting also not only a simple booket, begginers welcome book,I wish , the author seem professional will do otehr edition, but more deep tips, more of samples and not missing final piece photos if, its not fitting on page.so its more disappointing ((( but with hope, that author will have otehr editions, much full ))

Very satisfying and easy to follow. 4 stars only because I felt like it could have contained a bit more - but perhaps less is more in this case? I just felt it came to an end too soon... lots of questions that I would have wanted addressed. Nevertheless, a GREAT book that instructs well and includes the lesser used/more basic skills which suits me. Very useful. Good pictures, too.

An excellent book for people starting working with silver. The explanations are comprehensive and easy to follow. The photos are well chosen and help visualise the techniques. I really appreciated the ideas for building on the basic techniques, it have me more ideas.🌝

This was the first book I got when taking up jewellery making. Great book for beginners. Gives good concise advice and tips and covers what you need to get started with various methods. I've progressed now but this was really good to get me going and refer back to.
