These are perfect especially for those who struggle with Parkinson’s. It gives them the stability while walking. The product is made well and I highly recommended them for anyone!

I have used these poles for about a month and have walked approximately 20 miles so far. I am pleased with the poles but I feel I need to buy better rubber feet than what came with the poles. They are holding up well but I think I would prefer more substantial feet. I went to buy another set for my hubby since my poles came with a 17% coupon. I paid $130 for the poles and when I went to re-purchase they are now listed for $186.00. Can anyone explain why there is such a change in the price?

These nordic walking poles are working as Leki promised. I did alot of research into what walking poles to purchase and Leki seemed like #1. With no longer going to the "Y" anymore we had been looking for other types of inexpensive fitness ideas. The ONLY problem in receiving these poles is that the instructions were in Japanese. Fortunatley, you really don't need instructions as it's fairly intuitive. Take a look at Leki's video and you'll be enjoying these poles for years to come.

I am very pleased with these walking poles. If you want to take days off of high intensity training, yet still want to burn calories in your off days, these are the perfect tool. I am age 50 and a low intensity fat burning heart rate zone is anywhere between 119-132 BPM for me (side note, your heart rate decreases as you get older so you are working just as hard as a young person would be at a higher heart rate). Anyway, this heart rate can be achieved with these poles given a vigorous walk. Because I have been doing cardio for years, a vigorous walk alone will not get my heart rate up to the desired level Another advantage is that you can brisk walk with friends who are not runners and still get a workout.

I''m very happy with my Nordic Walking Poles. My order was fulfilled in about 4 days...very happy. Just so anyone asking about Nordic Walking Poles...be sure that's what you order...not trekking or hiking...they are totally different. Also YOU TUBE how to use them properly or take a class. They are definitely a workout.

These poles, when used correctly, will mimic the arm action used by nordic (cross-country) skiing. The motion builds upper body strength needed by seniors to maintain mobility and independence. Leki is the leader in urban nordic walking equipment, and users need to learn the correct technique--youtubes are available on the Leki site. Wedge-shaped Pole tips remove to reveal spike tip for rough trail walking. They need to be replaced occasionally depending on the surface you frequent. Easy to change. Pole wrist harness is adjustable, comfortable and comes with a quick release. A really wise investment.

I love these walking poles, they allow me to workout my upper body and boosts my heart rate. A much better workout with the addition of these poles.

Meine ersten Walking Stöcke, bin super zufrieden. Preis-Leistung stimmt. Bin froh, dass ich höhenverstellbare gekauft habe, da zum walken und Trecking doch eine andere Einstellung nötig ist. Griffe und Handschlaufen bequem und gut verarbeitet.

Having recently suffered a heart attack, meant I would have to change my lifestyle which included exercise. Not being a favorite of the gym I sought an alternative which would out benefit normal walking, using more of the body.These Leki Spin Poles are really good, light aluminium and once I had the pole height worked out, of which the leaflet enclosed showed me, off I went. OK I can't compare them to another pole, being totally new to this, but they have a comfy rubber grip, easy to adjust height and attach the hand strap to the pole by means of a trigger. Hand straps also adjust via the velcro strips. The poles also come with quiet rubber paws for hard surfaces or these can be removed and the carbide tip used for off road tracking, something I have yet to do, but am looking forward to.I am very pleased I purchased them.
