Love Makes a Family

I bought this for a baby shower. My only complaint is that there is no page to write a little love note to the person you are giving it to, as the book starts as soon as you open the cover. I was able to sign the back with permanent marker but that will wear off over time. The story is really cute, as are the pictures.

Simple message where kids can see everyday examples of Love and how they experience them daily. Inclusive book with beautiful illustrations. Great for a gift and opportunity to spread Love.

This is a fantastic book! I bought it for my 1.5 year old, but now that he's 2, it really is starting to be a favorite. I love how it has diverse families, some have 2 dads, some have 2 moms, some are older parents or grandparents, etc. There are people of all skin colors. It gives us a way to talk about the different kinds of families and people.It shows kids that love is shown in every day things, that love is in so much of what family does. My only wish would be that it would have more (or any) disability representation.

I just love these books! The message is so sweet and important, but also subtle. Her art is just the cutest and actually the #1 reason I keep buying her books. I love the details in the drawings, it gives my little babe a lot to talk about

This is such a lovey little book, it is well made and presented to such a high quality. The Illustrations are beautiful. The story in itself is fabulous because it really does have all family’s included, you have your typical mum and dad and then dad and dad, mum and mum, grandparents and single mums and dads.It a great start of have LGBTQ+ Literature just part of the story and having an all round positive effect.

A great book for a diverse family or just to teach about diversity. The kids love it and it is read every night before bed.
