Orient Kanno Japanese Automatic/Handwinding Diver Style Watch

This watch looks amazing. This is my second automatic as I am just beginning an interest in mechanical watches. I own an seiko skx007 as well. The kano seems to fit my wrist better. The dial and applied indices are perfect. I have the version with the bracelet. The bracelet seems like much better quality than the reviewers on youtube seem to suggest. There are no aftermarket options that will will fit perfectly, so this is probably the best way to go if you'd like a bracelet. The watch and bracelet is on the heavier side, and I prefer it to being to light. Feels great! The bezel is incredibly smooth and the time accuracy is excellent. This watch has a mineral crystal which is prone to scratching. Sapphire Options are available through Crystaltimes for this watch. I may swap the crystal out at a later date.

Outstanding finish and detail, perfect larger 45mm size. If this is Orients simplest spec WATCH it is truly impressive and beautiful in a simple, stylish way. Worth way more that others in this price range, an outstanding alternative to the Seikos which are too small and too shiny for me.

Feels like a more expensive watch. But, it runs so fast it gains 2-10 minute every day! So after a week, you can have no confidence in what time it is by looking at your watch. Pretty big issue for, you know, a timepiece.

I initially gave the seller good feedback for a nice product and quick shipping. Six months later the crown fell off while I was just setting the time. I contacted Orient and they said since I bought from an unauthorized dealer it was not covered under their warranty. The seller, AuthenticTimeStore, claims to have a one year warranty as well. I contacted them and they promptly told me that their warranty does not cover customer usage, rather only manufacturing defects. Well, in my book a crown that falls off while setting the time is a freakin' defect. Unfortunately, I cannot update my feedback for the seller and can only remove it, which I did. Anyway, be careful who the seller is especially if they are as "authentic" as the wonderful people at AuthenticTimeStore.

I bought this watch for my sons 18th birthday and he loved it, the watch looks beautiful and well made.

Love this watch. Mechanically it works great, looks great, and can’t be the day date style. Only bad part was right after I bought it the price went down. Recommend.

If your wrist is large enough to comfortably wear a 44mm in diameter watch, this is a great deal. Stainless Steel with a lug-to-lug of 50mm and 13mm thick, 200 meters of water resistance, day and date complication and a hacking and hand winding automatic movement, the Orient Kanno has a lot of bang for the buck. My only complaint is the bracelet (hollow endlinks, pins and pressed clasp), but for the price, it's actually kind of a given. Strapcode is always available to help personalize your wristwatch (They don't have a Kanno specific model, but straight end links work just fine)

Great quality watch, exceptional value for money. The only downside is that it's borderline too big, this is subjective though.
