Hair Chemist Macadamia Oil Deep Repair Masque Net Wt. 8 oz

This is one of the few masks I have found that I like. I have THICK, long, grey (colored dark blonde), and FRIZZY hair. This helped tame a lot of frizz. I was impressed. I need to order more right now.

I did some research about a year ago, trying to find a good hair (rinse out) conditioner. I ended up with 3 I could not decide between, so I purchased all 3 and have been using this one (and it's replacements) for about 2 years. The other leave-in conditioners did not perform as well as this one. The scent is nice, the product creamy and easy to get out of the container. I have grown my hair out so that it is halfway down my back, and I use plenty of conditioner on it. I doubt I would have been able to grow it this long (without a length trim!) without this conditioner! I hope the manufacturers never quit making it!

THIS IS A REALLY GOOD PRODUCT...JUST AFTER 2 APPLICATIONS ON THIS CONDITIONING MASK MY HAIR HAS BEEN MUCH SOFTER AND SHINY, ACTUALLY LOOKING HEALTHIER. I USE IT TWICE A WEEK IN THE SHOWER. USE JUST SMALL DAB AND WORK IT INTO HAIR FROM THE ENDS ON UP TO SCALP. RUN COMB THRU HAIR AND PROTECT HAIR WHILE SHOWERING. AFTER SHOWER IS DONE, PULL HAIR DOWN OR TK SHOWER CAP OFF AND RINSE WITH WARM WATER. USUALLY STAYS IN FOR 7-10 MINUTES. WOULDVE LOVED A STRONGER FRAGRANCE. GREAT PRODUCT!

I have average, medium stand, medium thick hair that is color treated with bleached streaks. My hair isn’t fried but it was feeling a little dry so I wanted to get something for additional moisture. After washing and conditioning I used a generous amount of this hair masque and left it in for 10 minutes instead of the recommended 7 minutes. As I was rinsing it out my hair started to tangle and knot up as if it had been stripped. What a mess. I needed two more coats of conditioner just to get a comb through it. I am quite happy they accept returns 👍

As a woman ages, her hair tends to become a bit more brittle. Factor in years of coloring and a pandemic and well...I have some needy hair. I've tried all sorts of leave in conditioners, expensive salon products, and an endless amounts of environmentally friendly "this and that free" conditioners and hair masks. I have even tried other products made by the manufacturer of this mask and this one, the Macadamia Nut, is by far the best one I have tried. I can use it like regular conditioner by leaving it in for a couple of minutes after a shampoo and it will do the trick for the day. I can wet my hair down and apply it, wait 30 minutes, and then rinse it out and it will help for a few days. I can apply it to completely dry hair and let it sit for an hour and it will help the same as if my hair was wet. The only thing I have ever put in my hair that conditions, moisturizes, and softens better is food grade, pure extra-virgin coconut oil straight out of the grocery department. Alas, that is a mess that I seldom feel motivated to handle. So, this conditioner gets the job done.
