Monoi Anti-Breakage Edge Control Oil

This is my new favorite edge control gel. After I shampoo my hair, I apply this gel onto my edges. I only use this gel when my hair is still wet. After my hair is air-dry, this gel still keeps my edges smooth, soft and laid down. I use this gel to help keep my edges in place, while wearing a bun. Throughout the week, this gel really does keep my edges from sticking up. I apply this gel once a week. I do not need to apply more gel in a week. All I need to use is a little bit. This gel gives a firm hold, that works for my hair texture. This is a good quality hair gel. NO Flacks. NO Hard crusty feeling. Easily washes out of hair. I will definitely buy it again.

Great hair gel! I love the hold I get and not having any of those flakes that appear after a while with other gels. It also smells amazing.

I think this product is great for doing buns on natural hair (I have a combo of 3C/4A/4B/4C) and it's great for slicking my entire head down. I put a little ecostyler over it (when my hair is damp) and I get a sleek bun. As an edge control alone it doesn't quite do the job but if you put a little gorilla snot over it and tie it down for 2-5 minutes, you're golden. The scent is very perfume like and floral, I find that it goes away over time but it lingers when you first put it on. I prefer this over the original Olive Oil version both smell and texture. I would say it is equal to the Pequi Olive Oil but that one has a fruitier scent. I use this similarly to how I would use the curls control paste, but this is cheaper- albeit thicker.It's the same size as the original olive oil one.

Let’s be honest, I don't manipulate my baby and teenage hair too much, but I’ve tried many in-store brands to keep my hair looking good, especially when I put my hair in a bun. This is THE best edge controller I ever used because my hair doesn’t move all day!!! I haven't found any in-store edge controller that’s as good as this one and I’ll keep using it. As I write this post, I already ordered it 2-3x and gave my sister one. I think it’d be awesome if they sold this as a set (including the edge brush)

I bought a two pack of this product. The first one was fine, used it worked out great. When I went to use the second one, it was ruined gooped up and unusable. Was unable to return

Great product, I have ordered before but this time the jar was half full...very disappointing. The gel is non drying and keeps edges in place all day...does get sticky after several hours but that is resolved by brushing.

Smell good and it's easy to apply, little goes a long way.

ce produit sens très bon, malheureusement il ne fais pas son boulot. il te plaque les cheveux 5 min, mais après plus rien. franchement je le déconseille
