Furniture Rehab Replacement 22 Inch Swivel Ring Base with 6.75 Inch Plate

When this product arrived, we couldn't turn it. I was advised by several experts to return it, but I was determined to make it work. Turns out, the tightness was a good thing. When I finally found the right 'expert', he showed me how once we got it onto the chair, it would work nicely and better actually than if it rotated too easily. So, if it doesn't seem to work initially, don't send it back. You will find once you mount it, it may be exactly what you want.

The one I replaced was about 4" tall to give clearance for the way the chair was made. This one is flat so I had to get some metal spacers and longer screws (of a very high grade) to make it work. I seems to be working. The quality of the swivel is very good. No complaints.

No dimension was given for height and this had to be returned. They required a restocking fee of 15% and along with return postage-not a good thing. This ring sits quite low and spacers would not work for my chair. Measure carefully before ordering. The ring itself seemed quite sturdy.

Such a hard product to find but am thrilled to have found it - it 'rescued' a chair that was in distress and headed to the garbage.

I elongated the holes a little, but it worked for me.
