I was looking for a more natural way to get my iron (I'm anemic), and I found Wholesome Wellness Beef Liver, so I ordered it. When it arrived, I took just one because I wanted to see how it would affect my GI System and had no problems. The capsules are pretty big, but they're easy to swallow. I've worked my way up to taking 3, and I’ll see how it goes. I've been taking it for a couple of weeks and I've noticed that my energy level is getting better. The quality is outstanding because it's 3rd party tested for purity and efficacy. I also love that it's grass fed beef liver. If it doesn't say "Grass Fed" then it's not very good for you because they feed the cows corn which is not a very healthy thing. I'm gonna keep taking it and see how it affects my lab work results, and I'll come back and revise my review if need be. I highly recommend this product if you're anemic like me. Wow, not sure if it's my imagination but this is the first thing that really has me feeling better. I started with just a couple tablets and now I take 3 in the morning and 3 before bed or early evening..I struggled my entire life with unexplained weight gain and tiredness. I would say just try this if you thyroid issues..

My spouse has been taking liver supplements for about a year now, trying different brands every so often. This product does help his energy levels and we have also noticed that his RLS has subsided, since taking them. Be advised that you will need to start off slow with these. If you take 6 capsules a day, you will have overwhelming side effects. I suggest taking 2-3 a day for at least a week or so, then upping the dose. The ingredients appear to be pure and clean. Also note, that it will take about a week to two weeks, before you see any real results. Good value for a month use. I recommend purchasing them.

Okay if you don't want to read a long message just stop here and buy them!!! For starters to give you my background and history I was born and raised a vegetarian my entire life. It was more a mental thing I couldn't get past as it grossed me out to the max. I also wasn't fed a great diet I was raised on junk food so really better said I was a junkatarian that ate no meat, no fruit, no vegetables. I was okay my whole life up until now that I'm 30 ... it's really catching up to me. My entire body aches and hurts, I can't barely bend over to pick stuff up anymore. I feel extremely fatigued, depressed, hopeless, every single day. I've also since having my third baby who is now 7 months old gained over 30 pounds AFTER she was born and I'm NOT breast feeding. Everything is slowing down and I feel like I'm so stressed and feel so bad foods become an escape where I just keep reaching for stuff to eat and feel better. I feel like I'm wearing a fat suit that I'm underneath of buried somewhere. Anyways... Yall.... the serving size is SIX pills and HECK no I'm not doing that. I only took 1 to test my strength and any side effects. I though for SURE I'd be sick and vomiting/pooping my brains out. Nope! Since I was a teen, I have had a few vitamin deficiencies. I needed to take iron supplements and was deficient in Vitamin B12. I have always struggled with hormonal acne that seemed to worsen the older I got, I was always fatigued and tired, and my hair started to thin and fall out in chunks. I started taking beef collagen which helped with my acne and skin complexion but didn’t seem to have an effect on my hair loss. I was desperate for SOMETHING to fix my ailments. As I was researching I started to see rave reviews about beef liver. I don’t have the stomach to cook up beef liver (I can barely handle touching raw meat) so seeing beef liver in an easy to ingest capsule seemed more ideal. I’ve been taking it for a month or two and I have seen/felt really great results! My hormonal acne has cleared up (I only get the occasional zit if I don’t wash my face or pillow case), my energy has improved (I used to sleep majority of the day), I have new hair growth and my hair isn’t falling out nearly as much, and even my nails are stronger and not flimsy! Something I was surprised about was that it balanced out my hormones. I track my menstrual cycle and it would come around every 18-20 days or so— I wasn’t aware that wasn’t normal/healthy. After about a month or two of taking the beef liver I finally had a “normal/healthy” period on the 23rd day from my last period (the normal range) and it was even shorter than what I was experiencing before: I went from having an 8 day period to a 6 day period. I take one capsule a day since that’s all my body seems to need. This has also replaced the gross tasting chelated iron I was taking which I am super happy about. I 100% recommend this beef liver!

I have not had good experience with co q 10. It isn't this specific product thats the issue, its co q 10 overall for me. Just makes me feel very sick with flu like symptoms and body aches. Just be aware that co q 10 is included in the ingredients. I did deal with customer service and they were very helpful.

I use this as a prophylactic. Have been in direct contact with ill people (colds and fevers etc) and rarely get sick or at least recover in 12 - 24 hours.
