For a child's gun this gun is very accurate. It does not shoot the hardest but if your child is just starting out this is the gun for you. My 7yr old can pump it on his own as well. Great products from daisy.

I bought this gun for my grand kids to shoot. They made some nice improvements to the classic basic Daisy BB gun. 1. A safety. When I was a kid there was no safety. This is essential when learning the basics. 2. Ratcheting cocking lever to save kids from getting their fingers snapped. 3. A real wood stock instead of plastic. Adds a little weight but makes the gun feel more solid, like a serious gun. I really like it. Glad I bought it.

It doesn’t come with ammunition but still a classic and beginners choice for safe use for kids.

Its's very accurate. It has safety. Another thing I'd like to conclude it's just the greatest BB gun! - the kid As you can tell my son loves his BB gun! He is 9 years old. I also am pleased about the safety switch. This toy keeps him entertained for long periods and keeps him off Minecraft for a little while which is a plus! He would sleep with this gun if I let him. It seems to work really well, is very sturdy and is easy to cock. He has cocked the gun repeatedly probably over a hundred times by now in less than a week, so that tells me it's a good quality toy.
