Coupler Broke 5 Times in a Year – Usha is Looting Customers
Not Worth Buying – Usha 3811 Mixer Grinder I purchased this product for nearly ₹10,000 and regret it. Within just one year, the jar coupler has broken three times. For clarity, the coupler is the small plastic part that connects the motor to the jar blades. If it breaks, the blades won’t spin, making the mixer useless until replaced. Usha charges ₹650 for this tiny plastic piece, even though a local shopkeeper can replace it for around ₹100. To make matters worse, couplers and jars are not covered under warranty. That means you pay a premium price upfront and then keep paying repeatedly for fragile parts. The product is also extremely noisy, adding to the frustration. Clearly, Usha is more interested in making money through service charges than providing durable products. Strongly advise against buying this model. Poor quality, hidden costs, and bad customer experience. Amazon should consider banning sell of this product from their website to protect other customers money.

Happy with this beast of a motor.
Been using it for >1 year now. Pros: The Motor is a G.O.A.T. The 1000 Watts can take on almost anything (except rocks ofc.). The Jars are practical (except the separate Juicer setup). Not too noisy. The big main jar is super handy. Very reliable and safe cutoff feature. Sturdy blades and jar material. Cons: The separate Juicer setup is basically useless, and it'd be great if we could optionally avoid it. (P.S.: Do not use any aftermarket bottom motor-attachment, it'll ruin your Jar-bottom)

4 years in, still going strong
I bought this product in 2021 and was in the market as I needed one more elsewhere. I see there are a lot of negative reviews on this product, but my experience so far has been different. It has a great motor, faced no issues thus far. Also the locking mechanism and the housing build quality is pretty great. We have used it extensively, mostly using it as a mixer and grinder. But occasionally, the vegetable slicing functionality has also been put to use. Especially when there are a lot of items to prepare. The only complaint I ever had with this was with the vegetable slicing functionality. The reason being it's plastic element at the top can grind against the rotating blade's outer edge if care is not taken to ensure that the blade doesn't deviate too much from it's normal rotational motion. So if one puts too much pressure on the vegetable while slicing, the blade will deviate from its normal rotation, the trick is to gently push down the vegetables. But I believe that better design elements can be used to ensure that this does not occur. But apart from all that, this has been a comprehensive piece of equipment so far. Definitely above an 8.5/10.

product overall is OK – but one small issue ruins the experience long-term
I've been using the Usha FP 3811 Food Processor for quite some time now and I must say the core product is nice. However, there is one major downside that really affects the product's long-term usability – the nylon washer in the jar caps. Over time, the washer tends to decompose or get damaged and it's very difficult to clean. If you try to clean it frequently, the washer starts loosening quickly. And once it's loose or broken, it leads to a bigger problem – you can't use the jars properly. Without the washer any liquid or semi-liquid content spills out from the jars, making a mess and rendering the jars almost unusable. What’s worse is that this small but essential part is not readily available. You can't just buy a replacement washer locally due to size mismatches and it's disappointing that even a reputed brand like Usha does not provide this part easily through their service network. For such a small, low-cost component to make the entire product practically useless is very frustrating. As it stands, it’s a great machine with a frustrating flaw that can lead to "dead money" over time.

Good product- very useful
Positives: - Power-Packed Performance: The 1000 Watts Copper Motor is so powerful, I half expected my kitchen to take off like a spaceship. Chopping, slicing, and dicing are now faster than my grandma’s storytelling. - Accessory Overload: With 13 accessories, this food processor is like the Swiss Army knife of kitchen gadgets. - Sleek and Stylish: The Premium SS Finish makes my kitchen look so fancy, I’ve started calling it the “Usha Café.” My other appliances are definitely jealous. My blender hasn’t spoken to me in weeks, and my toaster is giving me the cold shoulder. - Reflection Perfection: The black and steel design is so shiny, I’ve caught my reflection in it multiple times and had to remind myself I’m not on a cooking show. - Impressive Versatility: Whether it’s chopping veggies, shredding cheese, or making dough, this food processor does it all. It’s like having a sous-chef who never complains and works at the speed of light. - User-Friendly: Despite its many accessories and functions, it’s surprisingly easy to use. Even my tech-challenged uncle managed to make salsa without causing a kitchen disaster. Negatives: - Mega Efficiency: This food processor is so efficient that it might just process your entire grocery list in one go. Last weekend, I ended up with enough coleslaw to feed a small village. If anyone needs some, hit me up! - Unintended Consequences: Be careful with the super-speed settings; you might accidentally pulverize things you didn’t intend to. My poor carrots didn’t stand a chance—they turned into carrot confetti. - Loud: This thing is so loud, it could wake the dead. I had to warn the neighbors before I used it, and now my dog hides under the bed whenever I take it out. Overall, the Usha FP 3811 is a game-changer in the kitchen. Just be prepared for your other appliances to get a little jealous and maybe invest in some earplugs!
