After being a satisfied owner of the i-Stubble+ for 4.5 years, the head broke, meaning I was in the market for a new stubble trimmer. Some research later, I decided to go with the shiny and upgraded, Super Stubble XTP. After a few months of use, I can say that it is everything that made its predecessor great and then some! It has a solid construction - that of which you would have come to expect of BaByliss - and a much improved design (I particularly love the battery timer display which shows how much time is remaining until the next recharge). It also feels somewhat lighter in comparison meaning that it is easier to hold for long periods without annoying wrist ache! The ability to now shave in the shower is an added bonus alongside being able to successfully clean the head in water (finally!). The shaving experience is the same, perhaps better than the i-Stubble+. I've had no trouble trimming on lengths between 0.4-0.8mm. In my experience, it is (and has always been) a little awkward to learn how to use BaByliss trimmers the first few times as you need to figure out which directions you need to hold it in order to cut the hairs. After a few uses however, you get the hang of it! In sum, I'm extremely pleased with my purchase and highly recommend to anyone searching for a solid all-round waterproof trimmer.

Works very well

I bought this to replace my old i-stubble, the old LCD screen and no battery indicator. The old one was brilliant at cutting, never had any cuts or tugs or anything and I owned it for over 3 years. I decided to upgrade however as the blades seemed to be a bit worn and the chrome was peeling off. This new shaver has a brilliant screen showing the battery life in the form of time you have left... I use this once every few days and so one charge can actually last me a whole month!! (70 minutes use per charge). The actual shaving is slightly worse, it will tug on hairs sometimes if you're a bit too eager but if you're careful and remove the clump of hairs from under its beak every minute or so you should be ok... The included brush helps with this. It does cut evenly though and perhaps closer than my last trimmer. If you are left red and spotty after wet shaving or sore after foil shaving, this is just what you need, especially if you go 5 days or so between shaves and need to trim the hedge before getting the foil out.

Quite good. Bit pricey but you pay for better quality and longevity. Battery lasts ages. Not great for trying to trim down a long beard, but that's not what it's for really. Just give it a bit of a chop first if you want to go from longer beard down to stubble again. Produces good shadow and cuts clean lines with the guard off.

My delivery arrived from Amazon...as always on time and well packaged. I must admit I was excited to open the box and set up my new BaBaliss Super Stubble shaver. On first openening the box you're met with a really attractive shaver, it's bigger than I've previously used, quite a bit bigger, but still not a turn off...it had me wanting to try it out more. I plugged in the charger and set the shaving unit in to the stand and started the 3hr minimum charge it states in the guide book you need to do first, before first use. This gave me some extra time to really take in the sleek design and digital display and have a read through the rest of the user manual...it is a very nice looking unit. I actually charged the unit longer than recommend, even though I was itching to try the shaver out. The unit powers on as soon as you press the button and you can select by digital display what cutting length you require, which in-turn stops the shaving head to adjust it and you press the power button again to start shaving. Now this shaver is smooth! I've kept a stubble for over 5yrs now and this is the smoothest shaver I've used and I've owned it's predecessor. It cut effortlessly, it didn't snag, it didn't miss bits and certainly did not cut any part of my skin. I took my time and allowed the shaver to do it's thing and didn't force it, I didn't need to. It cut with ease. I also used it to trim other areas of my body and again it done a perfect job with no snags, missed bits or cuts. After I finished using the shaver I cleaned the head with the little brush and cleared any left behind hair which took just a couple of minutes, would have been quicker if I'd needed to rush. The digital display said I'd used 20 minutes of the battery life and had 50 minutes left of use. I placed it back on the charging unit and it fully recharged in around the same time I'd used it. My overall opinion of this shaving unit is that it's an absolute dream. Does it's job with ease and the best I've used so far. I am blown away by it's design, digital adjustment (which I believe is the length it says and very close if not) It has a nice size shaving head and gets those awkward places too. This is well worth the money and I'm extremely over the moon I've bought this shaver...if you're looking for a good quality, good design, well build shaver that does what it says...this is it!

Absolutely love this trimmer for my stubble. Versatile shower use and waterproof. It has many settings. I have used the Istubble range for many years and had two previous older versions. This one is on another level. Great value for money!

I have had a couple of these now. Not sure if it is me, but this does not seem to shave as close or as even as previous versions. It ok, but for smarter cleaner looks I now have to use an alternate brand.

Excellent quality had a few of the exactly the same trimmers over last 10/15 years

Broke after a few months. Would put me off buying Babyliss ever again - looks nice, but plastic rubbish.

While the product is the best in its class, the vendor sold me one with a UK charger, which is not listed anywhere in the description. I have to buy a converter just to be able to charge the thing. In addition, this particular version does not allow for direct charging and can only be charged through the stand. Other versions that are identical, allow you to do both.

Zum Trimmen / Kürzen von einem 3 Tage Bart habe ich noch nichts Besseres gefunden. Die Haare werden super gekürzt, ohne ein einziges Zwicken. Es ist sogar ein UK Adapter dabei. TOP.
