Worst operator interface ever
While the sound quality is good, especially considering the cost of this item, the controls are absolutely incomprehensible. There is no true menu and certainly no decent listing of your tunes. It is so difficult to understand how to navigate through your music, and so different from any other MP3 player I've ever seen or owned, that I have to relearn every time I try to use it. And the "User Instructions" (and I use that term very loosely) are pitiful. I've already tossed it into a drawer, never to be used again. Do yourself a favor and go for a name brand.

Great customer support
It’s really easy to use and set up but for some reason it can’t hold a single charge. I can only use it when it’s plugged into the computer or wall outlet. I was really excited to use it but I really can’t use it unless I’m connected to my computer or next to the floor outlet.Updated: I received great help from the seller and they sent me a new one right away. The customer support was really great, they seller was constantly emailing me until my issue was resolved.

Pleasant Surprise!
Great little device! Wasn't expecting too much (and the organization is albeit a little tricky to figure out), but I was very happily surprised. Simple with great audio quality, just what I needed. Word to the wise: organize your music in folders according to album/artist/playlist/however you want before copying the files to the mp3 folder, as the device won't organize by album or anything on its own. All in all, a great deal!

Does the job, long battery life with quick charge
(Review by 11 y/o Nicholas, who received it for Xmas)This music player does the job I wanted it to do: Play music through headphones while walking to school, working out, and playing with legos. It has a small ring on the bottom, so string can be threaded through it for a lanyard. It is small enough to fit in my pocket, and has a battery life that would last about a week of use, 4 or 5 hours total. This machine charges very quickly: it takes 30 minutes to fully charge it. It can also play music while charging. It comes with a charging cable, so all you need is a 110-to-USB adaptor.Unfortunately, the power button can accidentally be touched lightly to turn the machine off. I usually put it into my pocket with the switch facing up, so it isn’t touched as much. No other buttons have that sort of problem, and the memory card stays in without trouble. This mp3 player has a lot of tools, and multiple menus. The instruction manual covers what these tools are used for. When you first turn the thing on, there is a menu for music, movie, recording, voice, radio, photo, settings, and e-book. I only use the music setting. If you press the menu button while music is playing, you get a menu for different playing modes. There is shuffle, repeat, repeat file, and normal. There is also ‘Equalizer’, which changes song style. If the music is paused and you press the menu button, you can delete songs or whole albums. The screen is big enough to be read easily, and when playing music, tells you what song, who sings it, and which folder, or album, it is in.

Wow, Kinda Like a Learning a New Video Game...
Let me start by saying I rarely give bad reviews. The PROBLEM (in my opinion) is in the instructions (and a somewhat klunky design). Just because I can't get it to work doesn't mean someone else won't think it's great deal at under $20. Then again, I consider myself average-plus when it comes to tech (I can open a PC and easily replace a DVD drive, update Windows from 8 to 10 without losing sleep, et cetera) so I'm not your parents/grandparents (despite my age). But this POS, wanna-be MP3/voice-recorder/whutever... if two of its six features were user-friendly I'd have given it a higher rating. As of 12-24-18? Best I can say is: if you throw it against the wall REALLY hard it will probably still work (as it has for me) and that's not a bad thing...

Good
It's a neat little player, great deal for 20 bucks. It does not have bluetooth, but that is my fault for buying before checking. it is small and lightweight and can be worn around the neck. It's my first step in leaving Apple Music. Don't use Apple Music and Itunes. It is a total rip off now.

Decent product for price. Seller helpful
Initial player didn't work. Seller replaced without requiring a return which was helpful. Second player has different charging port but is working fine so far. Instructions are not very detailed on how to navigate the player.

Definitely worth the money the only downfall is the battery life
I absolutely love this I cannot believe how cheap it was I remember when these things were made and first came out. Exactly what they used to be back in the day very easy to use the sound quality is amazing it gets Extremely Loud I don't even have to put the headphones in my ears and I can still hear all the words clearly if I have it on full blast even if I have it set to 35 which it only goes up to 40 even at 30 sometimes if it's quiet enough in the room you can hear everything the headphones did break the second day because they got snagged on something but headphones are like $1 a pack of a Dollar tree. The only downfall about it and the reason I gave it a 4-star rating is because it only lasts for about five to six hours if you're lucky other than that it's amazing I would definitely buy another one
