Pretty place mats
These are beautiful full size place mats I bought to increase the number I already had. Would strongly recommend: lovely colours, weight and quality that last!

Very pretty - for now!
These are really attractive place mats, much admired and very different from the usual. All place mats seem to last a relatively short time before the cork backing becomes stained and moisture creeps under the edges and leaves a grey mark. These have only lasted a couple of week of careful use before one of them has a water stain under the edge. Such a pity.

Nice, but not great
Whilst the pattern is nice, and the price is appealing, unfortunately these mats just don't last. As previous reviews have said, if any liquid touches the edge of a mat then it forms a very unsightly stain under the plastic covering which does not go away. Otherwise they do the job OK. They are heat resistant and sturdy, and have stood up to two young boys prodding them with their knives and forks! It's just a shame about the staining really.
