IF it's not legal in California, you'll get a warning on the product page (assuming you are logged in), and once more when you put it in your basket, and will be denied purchasing it if it is not legal at the shipping destination. I do not know the legal status of this product in California, but trying the above may give you an answer. My personal experience is with some high strength lawn disease chemical that is not legal to use in my state of WA. The top paragraph was the result.

Does this come with the hip holster? And why does the listing say "Discontinued by Mfr: Yes". What is the expiration date?

Yes the one we got came with a holster. We purchased ours about a year and a half ago and it expires in 2017. Not sure about the Discontinued by Mfr.

What percent strength is this?

Very low, not suitable for personal safety. Only as bear detterant

This can is very similar to but larger than my current primary but it holds more spray. I really appreciate the fabric belt holster.

Great Product

Did receive product very quick. Ordering online is new to me so didnt know the feedback option so sorry its a little late. Already back from out trip to Yellowstone and didnt need to use this (thank goodness) but just having it was more at ease.

good purchase for large size with protective holster

nice large container with carry holster. Holster is ok but just to keep spray container in. Ended up ordering a better holster that can attach to belt or Molle.
