Serves its purpose at a reasonable price
I'm living in an area where the community is partially under construction, and with winter and rainy weather here, my dog has had a few days where her paws had gotten so muddy, doggy wet wipes just weren't cutting it. There are quite a few versions of these paw washing cups out there and I honestly only opted for this one because it was the cheapest! I didn't want to spend much on it since I wasn't sure how my dog would react to such a device or if she'd even allow me to use it on her. I'm happy to say that she's taken to it (with some treats for encouragement), and while it does take a little finagling to get her paws in passed the bristles (possibly because her paws are so small/light as she's only 7 lb), it seems to work well. I purchased the small size and was worried it would still be too big for my Pomeranian, but it works.I only have a couple (minor) issues with it: (a) the ring cap around the top is a little difficult to remove, especially when wet, and (b) unlike some other versions of this device, it doesn't have any sort of enclosure at the top to keep water from splashing/spilling out...the first time I used it, I knocked it over and the water went EVERYWHERE (although I fortunately hadn't filled it more than halfway since I was still experimenting with it)...there are other version of these cups that have a lid with only a small hole cut out that would most likely prevent as much spillage if it got knocked over...but since I spent so little on this, I'm okay with just having to be a little more careful. I like that this particular product also came with a small towel...it works well for my small dog's paws, but it's probably a bit small for larger dogs (like you'd probably need one per paw? lol). Overall happy that it serves its purpose and didn't cost much!
