After reading all the 1 star reviews, I opted to stay away from the upright broom with stick handle. I purchased the FuRemover "Duo" Lint Brush, and I am very pleased with it! It is a 10", hand-held lint brush, the actual brush head measures 5" x 1.25" at the widest point and tapers at the ends. It is double sided, with a smaller silicone bristle head for lint brushing and slightly longer and thicker silicone bristles for dog grooming on the other side. We have a Medium sized Maine Coon, a white German Shepherd and a 15lb Pomeranian that no "pet vaccum" is able to keep up with on our upholstery and carpeted stairs. I can spend 40 minutes vaccuming the one level stairs and still see so much fur left behind, not to mention having to unclog the vaccum at least a couple times in the process. This brush effortlessly and quickly swipes up all the fur, with the silicone head creating a static charge that the fur easily clings to. And it is easily removed amd disposed of. It does help to ball up the fur after removing it from the brush so there are no static cling fur fly away's. Pros: Its very easy to maneuver and fits easily into most all areas. Works great on carpeting and on upholstery too. The only con: You have to be physically able to bend down to sweep the fur. It you have a fur problem in your home, I definitely recommend this brush.

UPDATE: One year later and the brush has finally started to fall apart on me, but after how much wear and tear I put on it I'll gladly spend a few bucks to buy another. I use it on literally everything in the house! I bought white couches...why would anyone with pets buy WHITE couches?! Now granted the sales man did his job by telling me they are stain proof, which they are, but they are definitely not fur proof!!! I own 4 Aussies, 2 Poms, a lab mix, a Chihuahua, plus 3 cats, and GOSH knows how many foster pets come and go. What I'm getting at is, my house and me are a furry disaster. This brush does not get 100% of the hair in my house, however if you read above you'll see I have what is probably considered a "high volume" of fur to remove. It does however get about 80% of the fur (darn black Aussie). It does much better than the "fur remover" vaccume I purchased, for a lot less work. I would highly recommend this product!

I have a "fluffy" white dog and mostly black clothes. I'll say that this works and works well, if youre patient and have time, which I'm not and don't. Not a bad product, but is not the quick, efficient, sustainable solution I was looking for

This product is alright, I got it for my cat who has been shedding everywhere. I have navy blue furniture and the cat hair is all over that it is even on my black coffee table. I have used this product it gets an ok amount of hair out but i could get that amount of hair out simply with my hair brush. Also it is hart to get out of the brush and it DOES NOT get hair of clothes if anything it puts more hair on because the hair won't come out of the brush. I know it is cheap but i still do not think it is worth it even for a cheap price. I recommend you spend 17 bucks on a good quality fur remover.

I had this same brush a few years ago. I used it to brush my precious pug dog. It worked really great! When she died with heart failure I put it away . I was sad even to see it . Then I looked everywhere for it without finding it. So I looked at Walmart, pet stores etc. After about 2 years I finally thought to look on Amazon. I couldn’t believe it there it was!. I am so happy I found it. I bought several others over those 2 years and they were awful. This one catches my dogs hair gently and gives her a nice message at the same time and the brush is cheap to buy. Thanks Amazon!

This is great t removing dog hair from clothes and furniture

I have two short haired cats. I have used this to clean the cat tree, which is beige, and largely used by my black cat. It works great with very little effort on that surface which is carpeted. The cat hair builds up on the top where there is a circular bed. It was a lot of black hair and the vacuum did virtually no good at all, even with the fancy tools. I recommend this for cat hair. It was a lot easier than vacuuming.

My husband initially bought the broom from this company and I thought he was nuts. But honestly, it is one of the most used cleaning products in our house. I am actually allergic to our cats (nope not giving them up, move along) and I need to make sure there isn't a bunch of hair floating around. I noticed that the cat trees were ridiculously covered so I decided to awkwardly use the broom and it was amazing getting the hair off and thought there has got to be a brush form. Now I admit I wanted one that looked exactly like the broom with a flat edge but I couldn't seem to get it on its own so I purchased this and again was skeptical. But this works great. I was able to get into the nooks and crannies of the cat tree easily and get out all sorts of fur and dust that had collected over the months and maybe years at this point. The cats were so intrigued that a couple even let me brush them and it even worked well for that. The great thing about this and the broom is that it doesn't kick the dander and fur back up at me so it's much easier on the allergies. All in all, I'm really pleased with this product, but recommend having the broom on hand too, works great on both carpet and hardwood/laminate floors.

Quita el pelo de los muebles y la ropa en unas pocas cepilladas usando primero por el lado con cerdas más gruesas y luego por el lado más fino. Como es de silicona basta con lavarlo con agua y jabon para quitar el polvo. Es el segundo que compro para traer en el carro. Los dos han sido naranjas con gris en vez del color lila de la foto.
