bought this to replace a similar usb from another company. The usb being replaced still functioned but was getting hot. The Verbatim gets warm with use but not hot. Although the price was less than that of other sources it functions as well or better. No issues with storage capacity or usb port fit. Can not rate durability as I have only used it for about 2 weeks. it was easy to transfer files from the old usb to this one. I am happy with it.

Very nice and compact. Good way to back up your data and hide it somewhere in case you need it later.

Just started using it. Fast enough write for my purposes and very fast reads, just what I needed. Will update the review if/when it breaks apart :) but so far happy with the product.

Super small and works fabulously!

I had a very hard time getting this to plus in usb port. I examined it under a bright light. The are burrs on the edges. I had bought the same model back 6 months ago. That one never gave me problems. I had music on it and when I sold my truck in April, I forgot to get it out of the usb port in it. I sanded the burrs off and am going to give it another try.Wish me LUCK!

I bought this specifically for music in my car. I needed something to replace a regular memory stick that got lost, and I came across this. I used Verbatim CDs in the past and they were very reliable and given how small this was, I figured I'd try it out.It's been great so far. The snag-free design is there and then some (I'll elaborate more). Plugging it into the computer is no real issue. Simple plug-and-play design. Transfers are quick. And it's small. There's no way it can be accidentally broken off of the housing, and that's because it's less than a half inch long.A couple issues I've noticed (these I can live with personally, but worth noting):First, the snag-free design literally makes it tough to remove. I have it plugged into the USB in my 2023 Hyundai Tucson, and it is a pain to remove. You have to have the jaws of life to remove (not literally, but it takes some real effort to remove). It's easier to remove from the computer, though, but it shouldn't be that difficult to remove from the car's USB port.Second, the last couple times I've plugged it into the computer, it needs to repair itself because of drive errors, and that seems odd. I attributed it to coming from the car, and that's ok, but nevertheless, worth nothing.I still recommend purchasing this. Verbatim is a very reliable brand, and they've done well with this USB drive.

very compact and good quality, fits very flush and will stay out of your way. compatible with linux out of the box and really good value for money.

Nice device. Low profile keeps me from accidentally breaking it by catching it on things.
