Love this tent.
Purchased this and I love it. It was easy to put up but I would recommend putting the fly sheet on before pushing the second pole in as it’s really tall and would be difficult toget it over if on your own. It is super cosy and I just need some tweaks as my car is rounded on the sides so I’m going to get some more straps so I can fasten it tighter. I purchased some sucker hooks from Amazon and it kept the straps attached to the car. I would def recommend this car tent as it’s really big. The window covers zip down with a mesh window. It also zips open completely. You can zip the window and door covers up so no rain or air gets in. There are just 2 poles to insert to errect the tent and the fly sheet to go over. I will use this instead of my tent on short trips.

Excellent value for money with some compromises
So far this tent has been great. It has changed our "campability" from a smaller standalone tent. It has two design choices for connecting to the rear of a minivan, SUV or a different version to connect to side door of a van. Be sure to select the right type when ordering. We chose the tailgate option. It represents very good value for money compared with other tents, some of which are 2-3 times more expensive. That said, at this price point, there are some compromises but none have proved insurmountable. Heavy/frequent use might reveal durability issues but our usage of 2 - 3 times a year is minimal so we expect it to perform well with this level of wear and (hopefully no) tear. The tent is spacious; head height and floor area are excellent for tall adults. Connected to the rear of the car it affords plenty of room for a table and a few chairs, using the tailgate as a useful shelf and the boot space as a store during the daytime. Given its overall size it is moderately heavy when folded and bagged. The compromise is a lighter grade material which appears thinner than I've seen used in smaller tents. This hasn't presented any issues yet but so far it has only had a few nights use. We experienced light rain and Its waterproof performance seemed fine. The large side vents are very useful for keeping it cool. The portal attachment to the rear of the car tailgate is adequate and quite flexible with several attachment options, including two plastic hooks for the rear wheel arches. It would have been useful if there were more hooks e.g. for connection to a roofrack or roof bars but there are enough straps and elasticated guys to achieve a secure fitting. Any rainwater is able to run down the external rear pillars of the car while the tailgate is open and it drains behind the tent flooring, where it tucks up into the lower part of the tailgate. Drawbacks The flysheet is skimpy to say the least and the design is an uneven-shape to shade the side vents and provide a covering for the doorway. But the reach of this covering is inadequate with the consequence that when it rains, water runs off the edge that protrudes over the tent entrance and drips straight inside the tent if the base of the doorway is left open. The other things to watch out for; The tent comes with 5-6 heavy duty pegs. These provide stronger anchoring than the normal galvanised thin pegs but when removing them, use caution as the split rings at the four corners of the tent are not high quality and one unravelled when it was used to try and extract the larger peg, needing complete replacement after the tents first use. The other minor comment is that the toggles to retain the furled doorway and side vents are poor. The loops are cumbersome and very fiddly. On other tents I've used, these handy things can be opened/closed with one hand. Not so with this tent and definitely not in darkness. Some suggestions if choose this tent You might consider a decent secondary flysheet/tarp or an attachable stand alone awning to cover the entrance properly. Used with an inexpensive set of awning clips, this could transform your utility and most importantly, your comfort level in rainy weather. Depending on your preferred configuration, one could end up spending the same amount of money as you would on a tent that provides all of this in one solution. I hope this helps and good luck.

Great tent, great service
The tent is great, camped in North Wales, flysheet/rain cover was missing, hadn't realised until it was up. Had rain one day and inside stayed dry even without it. Contacted company on return and they promptly sent the missing piece. Very happy with it all, very spacious, fairly easy to put up, definitely recommend 👌

Great tent
Great tent, easy to put up on your own and super practical. Mine got a little bit wet inside after some heavy rain due to the bottom part not being completely covered. Customer service was amazing and I got sent a new over sheet straight away ! Very pleased and highly recommend.

Great product. Worth the money
I’d been looking for ages for a tent to add on to my pick up truck, tried another cheaper version and the fit was awful and it was thin and flimsy. After a long search i went for this and im glad i did. Great quality - poles, pegs, tent material, all decent quality and solid. Easy to setup and pack away. No wrestling with it to get it into the bag, all super easy. Surprisingly big, but because of its pole layout its a much stronger more rigid tent than others ive seen. Attaches to your vehicle easily. After now using it a few times, my only ‘issues’ would be the zips could be better. Theres only one door opening to driver side. One either side would of been a touch. But other than that it’s perfect and i would recommend!

Easy to erect and sturdy once up - good waterproofing which withstood some pretty heavy rain.
The small plastic hooks on the end of the guy ropes break very easily. Includes some dodgy quality tent pegs that bend one shown the mallet. The main entrance panel sits an inward angle which, if it's been raining, causes water to drip into the tent when unzipped. Not fixed to the back of my car yet but it looks as though it should work just fine. Pretty happy with my purchase at a reasonable price point.

leaks and no good in wind.
fine, perhaps, if you are going on a European trip in great weather, I did NC500 in Scotland in August, and this tent truly is not weatherproof. It ripped on day 2 in windy conditions, it leaked, even with the rain fly cover on, it doesn't come with adequate quantity or strength of pegs. it looked great when we put it up, and attached equally well to side or rear of van (see photos) but my VW Caddy has side door on LHS only and this did not work well with tent door on RHS when attached to the rear of the van

It's what it says it is
Sturdy and a good fit for the car, only downside is the roof lining, could never get my head round it in the dark. Pack up might be challenging too

Ottima tenda

Also Vorsicht beim Aufbau!
