I have a couple of these gate latches and they work great for keeping gate closed the magnet is strong and easy to use.

This gate latch is amazing. Installed and it works like a charm. We made the gate shorter than the fence but I am sure that the latch will work so much longer than the standard gate latches. Purchased the gate stop as well and the pair make a gate that is seamless in use and closing. Easy to open and secure when closed. Would recommend to anyone that has had past issues with gate latches.

Needs a little graphite spray after 6 months or so to keep the plunger from sticking.

We use ours on our pool fence in combination with a traditional lock. The combination makes for a very safe and child proof option. My three year old has mastered a traditional lock, but has not discovered how to use both locks at the same time. It’s a little puzzle for kids and adults alike. These are very sturdy and require just enough strength that a child can’t easily open.
