Instructions very lacking. No advice on how to tune the device. Chords didn’t sound correct because it can’t be tuned. No instructions on how to change the strings. Zero access to the strings if one breaks, no way to change it.

So, overall it’s not bad but...if you have started to develop any callouses the strings are really too soft to feel well. Other than that, not bad.

The good potentially outweighs the bad. We will see with the second product.The product doesn't just "slide" open. At least this one didn't. You either have to hold one end and push it open with your thumbs or push it open with your thumbs then pull it from the bottom part of the case/door. The door/case can make a popping noise and pop off the track.Secondly the strings are trash, which is fine but the product doesn't come with any replacement strings and the high B and high E string feel fragile. After boxing, reading the instructions to determine whether the metronome actually made noise, WITHOUT ADJUSTING any of the strings the G string popped. After removing the screw on the bottom backside, there's no simple way to replace the strings. And looking at the top, you'd have to remove some screws and take off the metronome which I'm not going to do.The good is that the metronome works, makes noise and you can change the tempo. It also swivels.The product without the metronome is half the price. Then opening and closing door issue is a concern but that could be just this one, and while the strings particularly the G, B, E strings are flimsy one wouldn't expect for them to break so easily without any spares but the reality is which what it appears to look difficult in replacing/repairing the entire product just might not be worth it.The metronome is the only thing that seems to work. We will see if the replacement is any better.

This item really cannot be tuned since it has no sound. Well be returning the item.

I think this would be a much better item if the directions were written by somebody whoknows English and were a little more than a package insert. Why would they go through thetrouble of designing and making a thing like this and yet could not be bothered to spend evena little effort on making a set of instructions that were more useable?

It makes no noise. It’s strictly finger placement training.

This was the biggest waste of money. There is absolutelt no point to it- you cannot even strum... you are just placing your fingers on the fret board. Total waste of money!
