Great pump for emptying sink and pumping cleaning product to unblock pipes
Used it to pump still water out fro. sink to toilet before I took p trap out for cleaning. Then also used it in reverse to pump gel into pipes after p trap. Works very well. Good build quality and good value. Definitely recommend. Also the tubing that comes with it is easilly bendable to go round pipe corners yet rigid enough to be pushed further down pipe. Connections are good and can be easily popped up to let tube out and put back again. havnt used for diesel siphon. but good for sinking emptying and pipe cleaning.

A Handy Little Workhorse with Room for Improvement ๐ง๐
As a DIY enthusiast always tackling odd jobs around the house, I was thrilled to discover the Draper Dual Purpose Air and Fluid Transfer Pump. This nifty little gadget promised to be a multi-tasking marvel, and in many ways, it delivers on that promise. ๐ Let's start with the positives. The ability to use this pump for both air inflation and liquid transfer is an absolute game-changer. No more lugging around separate pumps for deflated bike tires and leaky oil pans โ this bad boy handles it all with ease. ๐ช The suction power is impressive, allowing me to quickly inflate tires or siphon fluids without breaking a sweat. The "leak-free Quick-Link feature" is another major plus. No more wrestling with finicky connections or dealing with pesky drips and spills. The pump attaches securely, ensuring a tight seal and mess-free operation. ๐ค However, there are a few areas where this pump falls short. While it excels at handling small jobs, tackling larger tasks like draining a car's oil reservoir or inflating a massive air mattress can become a real workout. The pump's compact size, while convenient for storage, can be a hindrance when you need sustained pumping power. ๐ Additionally, the length of the tubing could be improved. For those hard-to-reach spots or deep containers, the included tubing often leaves me stretching and contorting like a circus performer. A longer, more flexible option would be a welcome upgrade. ๐ฅต Now, let's address the "Customers say" section from my perspective: "While the Draper Dual Purpose Pump is undoubtedly a versatile and well-made tool, its performance can be hit-or-miss depending on the task at hand. It excels at small, quick jobs but may leave you winded for larger projects. The length of the tubing could also use some improvement for better reach and maneuverability." ๐คทโโ๏ธ Overall, the Draper Dual Purpose Air and Fluid Transfer Pump is a worthwhile investment for any DIY enthusiast or homeowner looking for a reliable, multi-purpose pump. Just be aware of its limitations, and you'll have a handy little workhorse in your toolbox. ๐ง๐

Was good at pumping, now a stiff tool
Worked for me at first, pumping water collecting in a container under the sink from an annoying leak i didn't have time to get sorted. Exactly 2 months after receipt, it's become stiff and stopped working. Good while it lasts, but the short life means it's really more expensive than you thought. Still, cheaper than a plumber even if i but another to bridge the gap till I call one out.

Effective and good quality
I bought this to get water out of our stop cock pit and find a leak.... and it worked perfectly! Its easy to use and effective and couldnt ask for more. It drained probably 10-20l of water in a minute or so of pumping to show where the leak was coming from. Appears really good quality and quite sturdy which is why i choose Draper rather than a cheaper make, so should last a while. A little hint, to remove the pipes push the grey shoulder gripping the pipe towards the main pipe body and the pipe will detach nice and easily to pack away. The only slight issue is the tubes are quite stiff (pro and a con) so do hold the coiled shape from packing, so if i had a little more time and needed to use it more often, i would probably leave these in some warm water to straighten them out.

Great whilst working
Very simple pump for transferring fluids, draining petrol tanks etc. If youโve a large amount of liquid to transfer I would suggest buying an electric pump as this oneโs slow. The pump can become very stiff during use and Iโve had the rubber O ring come off despite applying light oil. Petrol just dries out the lubrication within a few strokes. Itโs still worth buying if you know its limitations.

Works exactly as described.
Excellent. I used this to drain diesel from a tank to a Gerry can. A couple of pumps and then the system self siphoned the tank. Less than a couple of minutes 25 liters drained. Very easy and little effort. The plastic pipes supplied are plenty long enough. I was thinking of spending ยฃ25 on an electric pump, but it really is not needed & when pumping fuel I pre no risk of electrical sparks. I totally recommend this pump.

Reasonable quality for price.
Actual pump and pipe work seem pretty good, the packet of adaptors for different uses is cheap and remains to be seen how useful they will be I suspect not very.

Large pumping capacity
Good suction and capacity. Was able to empty out 2 liters from a fixed bottle very quickly. Havenโt used it as a pump till now but it should be fine as well.
