Update 27 September 2016I have been using this on my face for the past month, and it has helped my eyebrows not only grow in, but the hairs are much thicker now! I am truly amazed by this product. I have been using castor oil and tea tree oil on my thinning eyebrows for the past 3 years, and still have not yielded results like this! I hadn't even purchased this for eyebrow care, but it's surely proven its benefits with it! I'm thinking of purchasing another bottle to use for my hair oil mixtures. This tamanu oil is AMAZING!!!WHO:Anyone! :-)WHAT:I've been using this Tamanu oil for a week now, and already see the difference in my skin! I have extremely oily skin, especially in the t-zone. I've been using essential oils and oils for skin/beauty care for about 6 years now. But I have not found anything that has significantly combatted my oily skin like this Tamanu oil!WHEN:I started using it every night and morning for the first few days. Now I have incorporated my regular skin care routine back in, and I use the Tamanu oil during the day, before applying my primer and makeup; since it does such a great job in helping to minimize my oil production.WHERE:I use this on my entire face and neck, as well as the ends of my hair. It's a natural oil, so it has a earthy/nutty smell to it. Some may not be a fan of it, but I enjoy it. It's all personal preference I guess.HOW:I put half a pump into the palm of my hand, as I've found that a full press on the pump is too much oil (at least for me). A little goes a LONG WAY!.So I gently rub my hands together (to avoid rubbing it into my hands, as it aborbs quickly) to cover my entire hand for application.Then I gently pat my hands around my face, starting with the sides and working my way around (gently patting), and onto my neck as well.Then I use my fingertips to gently pat around the eye area.I continue gently patting around my face, pausing on the sides of my face for a couple seconds.**Gently patting the oils, will allow the skin to better absorb the wonders of Tamanu oil (opposed to rubbing it in). This works for any oil, and I also apply my face creams in this manner as well**

This stuff is truly amazing! I've been dealing with acne for over 20 years. I've tried every topical brand on the market & all they do is dry & irritate my skin, causing further breakouts. Obviously chemicals are not the answer so I decided to research essential oils & came across this. I saw results in days & now almost a month later, my skin is clear, more even toned & my scars are faded. I have been recommending it to everyone. I wish I knew about this years ago! I feel like a weight has been lifted & I no longer have to stress & worry about my skin. All I use is an all natural exfoliating face wash & this oil. I'm so pleased with this simple routine & amazing results! Love, love, love it!!!

I have some irregularities on both my legs from the calf to ankles and on top of my feet. I had showed this condition to my dr. and he had no advice what to do to get rid of this problem. I even searched online for this condition and found no images that show what this is. So, I still don't have any idea what this condition is, but this product is helping the red blotches to fade. My husband even noticed! So I started using it on my face before bedtime a few nights ago (not for blotchy skin, but just as a moisturizer) and it already seems to be making my face feel softer. I have to be more careful though about it not getting in my eyes because it does sting and made my eyes water. (Of course, it's not made to be put IN the eyes, so that was my fault, not the product's!) So for the reason it is making my skin's appearance improve, I'm giving it 5 stars.

I bought Tamanu oil in the hopes that it would help with my hormonal acne. After a couple weeks of using it, I didn't see much of a difference in terms of breakouts. But it was evening my skin tone, so I decided to at least keep using it until the bottle was done. However, around the two month mark I began to see real results. My breakouts are SIGNIFICANTLY reduced, and I'm seeing other positive changes too, like a few premature age spots are lightening. My hunch is that because Tamanu oil penetrates all three layers of the skin, it takes a little while for its true antibacterial qualities to take effect. In other words, unlike something like Proactiv, it's not just treating acne on a surface level. It's getting to the root of your skin's inflammation and creating a healthier base layer for clearer, more thriving skin. My advice is to try Tamanu oil and stick with it for at least three months to really judge all the ways it can help you. I'm certainly glad I did!
