Lady Antebellum

I have long been a fan of Lady Antebellum and I love their music! This self-titled debut album is phenomenal and showcases each band member's talents. Their voices are strong and clear and the combination of their vocals and the instrumentals produce music that is pure contemporary country. Most of the songs on this albums were co-written by the trio and I think that's amazing for their debut to come out this good! I could listen to their music over and over again and believe this group will appeal to most fans of country as well as anyone who just wants some good quality music to listen to, I highly recommend this CD!

What else to say, if a Lady Antebellum fan, this album will not disappoint. A pick-up and mood maker whether listening in the car, home or while exercising. I like the variety of songs, tones, and melodies in this album.

I've listened to Lady Antebellum for years on the radio but never bought any of their CDs even though I really liked their music. I finally caved and bought this CD and it was totally worth every penny!! Awesome music by a fantastically talented trio!!

I am not a huge country music fan -- I am very selective about what I like and enjoy in this genre. My tastes tend to run along the lines of bluegrass.I bought this album when it first came out and it is STILL in my car. My biggest criteria for an album is how it wears over time. There have been albums I have loved initially and then six months later I am really sick of them. This one is just the opposite. The longer I have it, the more I like it. The quality of the songwriting and vocals are both very, very high. I was glad to see them win at the CMA last night and hope it will help more people discover this wonderful group.It's great !

Lady Antebellum's music is fantastic. I am glad I purchased this CD. I recommend it to anyone for their music collection.

Endings begin many a country tale, and the casual kiss-off of Lady Antebellum's opener stays the course. Pushed by its repetitive, guttural, twangy riff, "Love Don't Live Here" gives a polite but firm boot to a fair-weather love who focused too long on her search for greener pastures. Trebly guitars abound, but Lady Antebellum hails from a harmony-heavy heritage (Little Big Town, Dixie Chicks, Eagles) that sweetens their bite a bit. Although its lyrics run a little to the pedestrian side, the band's one-female / two-male / three-vocal lineup keeps you from caring that you've heard many of these stories before. A nice mix of grit and grace.

from the first single "Love Don't Live Here" until the last song this debut cd by group Lady Antebellum has your attention.Each member of the group brings something extra to the group. The result is a fine first album by a group that people need to pay attention to. They have a unique vocal style (male/female lead) that interchange throughout each song. They write a lot of their own material on this cd. Which is something that you don't really see everyday in some artists.I love the cd and I look forward to not only seeing them live. But to their future recordings as well.

It arrived in excellent condition and is one of my all-time favorite CDs. I have a CD player in two places in my home and a car that takes both CDs and audiotapes. It is a wonderful addition to anyone's country music collection.

Country isn't usually the kind of music I would listen to but this is such an uplifting, fun and enjoyable album it's completely changed the way I listen to music.Lady Antebellum have a very authentic country sound, but there's something very powerful about the melodies that elevates this album.The vocals, both guy and girl, are polished, electric and gorgeously performed. The production on the album makes everything stand out, there's a lot going on here and the mixing here really makes you enjoy every bit of it!Overall an amazing album that I really think everyone could enjoy, depite usual musical tastes.

Easy listening country music!

I really enjoy their music.

The album is one of my all time favorites and im not a massive country fan but theres pop, rock,country all on the one album and too put it simple you should buy it if you are a Keith Urban, Rascal flatts, Taylor Swift, Sugarland fan. If your not then id still buy it as its one of those albums where you can always find a song you like.

This is the first Lady Antebellum album I have purchased and I am more than pleased with the content. After hearing the track from their latest album I wondered what their earlier work was like and I was not disappointed. An album that can be listened to again and again. Certainly recommend.

My kind of music!

I had heard of lady antebellum a few times but hadn't paid them much attention then started listening to a couple of their tracks I'm so glad I did. This is a really good CD and I haven't stopped listening to it since it arrived!
