Works Great with my MXL V67G After a Very Minor Modification
I had read another review in here from someone using this with the MXL V67G after popping out the existing mounting ring with a flat blade screwdriver, so I took a chance and ordered one for myself. That guy was 100% correct! I just popped out the existing mounting ring with a flat blade and my V67G slipped right in and could be tighly secured using the black mounting ring supplied with the V67G. I had read a lot of negative reviews about the MXL shockmount for this microphone so I didn't want that one. This shockmount bears a striking resemblance to the MXL 890 shockmount that came standard with my 890 vocal mic and with the same quality of construction. The price is definitely more than fair for what you get here! So... If you have an MXL V67G order with confidence! I would say that this would be a much better choice than the MXL alternative. I was also blown away how fast Amazon got this thing to me! I ordered it last night and it showed up on my front porch this afternoon!

Perfect Accessory
I purchased this Shockmount for my AT2020 microphone. It fits really really well, and it gives you plenty of wiggle room to work with so it fits nice and snug once you have it screwed in. I purchased it along with an 7701B Tripod Boom Microphone Stand, 3ft. XLR Cable, Pop Filter, and the Icicle XLR to USB Mic Converter/Mic Preamp. I honestly couldn't be happier with my new setup. The only thing you have to do to ensure that your shockmount fits on your stand, is to unscrew the internal piece inside of the part hanging off of the shockmount (the clamp/screw thing...) You CAN fit this on an 7701B stand if you take that piece out. If you have a smaller stand that fits right into the standard pre-screwed in piece, then you're good to go. : ) Overall, I'm really pleased with this product. It's surprisingly heavy than what I had imagined, but it does the job and does it well. Highly recommend it!

Great Shockmount!! IT WORKS WITH ANY MIC STAND!!
I recently bought an Audio Technica 2020 and was looking for a shockmount for it, I bought the one that Audio Technica makes and I was not satisfied with the quality, so I returned it and came across the Samson SP01. My first thought was that it looked just like the shockmount I have for my Neumann TLM 103. I immediately purchased it after seeing that people were using it with the AT 2020. As soon as it arrived I put my AT 2020 in it and it looked stunning, after I mounted it on my on-desk mic stand I bumped the table a few times to see how it worked. In short it works great, The SP01 isolates the mic extremely well. I also tested the shockmount with my Studio Projects C1 and Rode k2 (both very heavy mics) and it works great. One word of advice it seems that some people are having problems hooking this shockmount to their mic stand ( which I find extremely amusing). Like most shockmounts the Samson SP01 has an adapter that is too small for most US mic stands already in the mount ( the part where the shockmount connects to the mic stand). THIS IS EASY TO REMOVE!! All you have to do is take a coin and unscrew it!! Once you unscrew the adapter the shockmount will connect to your stand.

good inexpensive shock mount
works great. much better build quality and more absorption than the cheap $10-15 generic chinese shockmounts on amazon. the finish isn't perfect around where the joints on the metal are, but for the $ you cant beat it. i'm going to paint it to match the rest of my setup anyway, so a little sanding to get it perfect is no big deal. my AT2020 rotates/spins freely in it when fully tightened to the base. if you want to prevent this and keep the microphone from spinning you need to install one of these into the base before mounting the microphone: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07K88Q7LS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s02?ie=UTF8&psc=1 this ring fits perfectly, looks factory, prevents movement of the mic, and is rubber so it wont scratch the base or microphone.

G Track Pro Compatible (w/ effort)
No one really supports the G Track Pro condenser mic officially, so I took a chance with this shockmount after looking at reviews and browsing numerous forums. The mount itself seems well put together, but the paint finish on the metal pieces leaves a little to be desired. It makes the mount look cheap, when it is in-fact very sturdy. This thing does not give. As I mentioned before, the G Track Pro is not officially supported, but it does fit. After 20 minutes of intense frustration, I just took the knobs off the G Track Pro and slid the mic in to screw it on. With a careful touch and flathead screwdriver, this is extremely painless. Once I had installed it into the mount, I put the knobs back on the mic. It is important to note that the microphone will not be perfectly aligned with anything on the mount. It must sit in-between the inner supports to actually fit once you’ve screwed it on. This looks a little funny, but ultimately doesn’t matter. The sound I get is much better as it doesn’t pick up my mouse on the desk as much, and certainly isolated the desk moving or any other weird thing that can move the mic while playing a game or using it to record music or other audio. With a careful hand you can take your G Track Pro from the desk to a mic arm and really elevate your audio for a stream or for studio recording. I recommend the product completely once I overcame that initial barrier.

Superior shockmount, fantastic price!
I don't think I can say enough good things about the Samson SP01 Shockmount. Long story short I was trying to get a podcast going from scratch about three months ago. I did some research and discovered that a shockmount is necessary to keep any noise from anything securing the mic from being picked up by the mic while recording. A shockmount is an absolute must, especially when looking at using a tabletop mic stand where the table will also be used as a work surface. The build quality is fantastic. I just recently purchased my THIRD shockmount for an additional mic to be used on the podcast. What I've grown to appreciate so much is that it seems to fit just about any condenser microphone I can get my hands on. If you are considering buying this for your own condenser mic, make absolutely sure that your mic has threads on the bottom to be screwed into some type of stand or shockmount. Nearly all do, but some companies like Blue (Snowball, snowflake, etc.) are designed not to be used in conjunction with shock mounts. I have used the MXL 007.USB with this shockmount as well as the AT2020 USB and XLR version. The MXL fit like a glove, perfect. The AT2020, once threaded in, seemed just a bit loose, so I added a couple foam bumpers around the base to act as a washer. It made a tight fit and further insulated it from any sound interference from any movement. In short, I haven't found a better shockmount for condenser mics. The attachment screws onto any desktop tripod and traditional mic stand. Fantastic. Buy two of these!! :) Thanks Samson, now just make better mics!

Works with Heil PR40 & PR30
I previously purchased the Heil shock mount (SM-2) for my PR40, but was now searching for a cheaper solution for my partner's PR30. I read online that someone had used this one by popping out the threaded mount at the bottom and using the included mic holder (SM-3). I just received the Spider shock mount and used a small flat head screwdriver to gently pry off the threaded mounting nut at the bottom. This makes enought room for the PR40 or PR30 to fit throught. Since there is now nothing to hold the mic in place, just use the mic holder that came with the mic to attach it to the mount. This mount is well built and seems like it will last as long as the Heil mount that I bought for four times the money. A previous review mentioned that the part that attaches to a mic stand was made out of plastic. This is not the case with the one that I received. It is 100% metal. It is threaded for standard mic stands and come with a reducer nut pre-installed that I removed to fit my equipment. Great buy and a recommended cost saver if you have Heil mics and need a shock mount.

Quality Shockmount, but beware, it will not fit the AT 2020
This is an excellent shockmount. It is quality made, nice looking and well designed. However, when I was doing research on microphones, pop filters, shockmounts, etc for my studio, Amazon.com recommended this to buy along with the AT 2020 mic. Without doing further research, I assumed based on Amazon's recommendations that buying them together meant they also fit and worked together...so I bought them both, and a pop filter together as recommended by Amazon. I was wrong. Amazon should NOT recommend buying the Samson SP01 shockmount and AT202 mic together. The pop filter works fine. The Samson SP01 shockmount will not, I repeat, WILL NOT screw in and tighten fully when attached to the AT 2020. The shock mount will screw in about half way, but that's it. The more you turn the threads, the mic and shockmount continue to turn as if they are screwing in further, but simply will not tighten any more. You will not be able to screw it tight to the base of the shock mount to secure it. The threads and diameters are probably designed slightly differently, the SP01 being specifically designed just to fit properly with some Samson and probably some other brands/makes of mics. Upon discovering this, I did more in-depth research and verified that according to the research, the Samson SP01 shockmount will only fit certain Samson microphones. However, with all of the numerous brands and types of mics out there there most likely will be mics that DO fit it. It will be a test and hit-or-miss type of exercise. I knocked off two stars because I think Samson should make this type of product more universally compatible and, if not, then make better note of that fact on sites like Amazon.com. Never-the-less, I think this is one of the nicer, better quality shock mounts out there. Just be aware of this design spec and be ready to test it hoping that it will fit your mic or you may be in for the return-exchange hassle. PWN

"Ragno" di qualità
Il prodotto si presenta valido grazie all'uso di materiali duraturi per robustezza. La versatilità di utilizzo è permessa dalla possibilità di montarlo in postazione fissa (asta microfonica) e mobile (supporto treppiedi da tavolo, sebbene la stabilità in questo caso è meno garantita). L'ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo non offre però sorprese particolari (il prezzo è nella media rispetto al prodotto).

Compatible Samson G-Track Pro
