Smooth, Rich and Excellent Quality Tawny Port
Graham’s Tawny Mature Reserve is a superb port with a rich, smooth flavour. It has lovely notes of dried fruit, nuts, and caramel, with a well-balanced sweetness that isn’t overpowering. Very easy to drink and wonderfully warming. It’s ideal for enjoying after dinner, with cheese or dessert, and also makes a great gift thanks to its premium taste and presentation. The quality is exactly what you’d expect from Graham’s — consistently excellent. Overall, a delicious and well-rounded tawny port that offers great value for its quality. Highly recommended.

Where’s the bottle tube?
Great tasting port. Disappointed that it wasn’t delivered in the “tube” mentioned and shown in item description!

Even this basic tawny from Grahams is better than many of the other brands
"The Tawny" is Taylor's entry level non vintage port. It is a light brown colour with a hint of maroon from the grapes and not as subtle as either the 10 or 20 year old versions to be honest, at this price which is little more than you would pay for a bottle of plonk in a restaurant, it is an absolute bargain Having visited Porto recently and did the tours of a few of the port houses over in Vila Nova de Gaia, I concluded that Graham's is by far my favourite port house as it is the most traditional and the family has resisted the temptation to sell out to the global drinks conglomerates. Sadly the wine itself is no longer transported down the Rio Douro in wooden rafts but there is still plenty of heritage and time honoured traditions of manufacturing this particular fortified wine which was devised by the British during the Napoleonic wars to ensure that the nobility still had wine on their table. Grahams own their own vineyards too, unlike some of the inferior brands, and I was really impressed with the set up there. The combination of tawny and Grahams for me is an absolute winner. It comes in a nice tube too.

Viscous, round, fruity, happy!
It has that amazing mouth feel, and the flavours are great - very figgy! It's one for sipping and enjoying slowly. And there's something about a port whose taste you really like, which you take slowly, which makes you feel immensely positive! edit: previously I've bought this in cooler months, February and March, and thoroughly enjoyed it. This time I bought a bottle in the middle of July and it isn't nearly as enjoyable at summer temperatures. It loses that sensation of viscosity, mouth feel when at summer room temperature. It needs temperature control. I don't have a cellar so it's the fridge or room temperature and neither is right. Refrigeration is too cold and summer temperature is too warm. This is one for the cooler months, 12 degrees or lower.

Wonderful
Smooth with great depth of flavour, excellent port for the price. Will buy again for sure. Not too sweet at all but plenty of dried fruit flavour.
