While they function okay, they just seem too small (the dessert spoon in particular).

The media could not be loaded.  I told my husband that we were getting new flatware and he asked me what the difference between flatware and silverware was, so I had to give him a quick lesson.Flatware, if it's a great set, is made from stainless steel and it will include the everyday utensils that one would need to have a meal. Silverware is either plated or real sterling silver, but are used more often for special occasions. Much more formal. We have a set that is only used twice a year. And as much as I love that set, I don't like the cleaning of sterling silver.Having a great flatware set that is not even close to cheap looking and is perfect for everyday use.This 20 piece it is absolutely beautiful, and it is perfectly plane and easy to dress up. I can just lay different placemats underneath them, and I can go from casual to formal very easy.They are beautifully designed and not overly heavy , but they do have a nice weight to to them. If my room mate had not tossed the packaging this set would have returned immediately!! Worst set of knives I have ever bought. They are so dull and thin they are dangerous to use. Now shopping for a replacement set.

I needed some new flatware and did my research. For what I could afford, this set seemed far and away the best, and it has not disappointed me (the steak knives included sealed the deal). This silverware looks great, is nicely balanced, is solid, and performs its' functions very well. 18/10 steel. Best of all, it is not made in China (made in the UK)! I plan to buy another set as finances allow.

These are AMAZING for the price! Every piece in this set has a lot of heft to it and I can't imagine any of the cutlery bending. The whole set has a mesmerizing shine. The smaller spoons are a bit smaller than I expected, but they're definitely useable. The steak knives are actually quite sharp. I'm contemplating a second set to expand on the number of pieces of flatware I have available.

If you’re looking for simple everyday flatware, these are great. The main thing I wanted to be sure of, is that they were not super lightweight, but turns out that they have sufficient weight so they don’t feel cheap.
