Excellent brand name sharpener. I've purchased 2 of these over the years, second was because I gave my first one to a friend who was unable to sharpen knives by herself. Now there are two happy customers. I will add that the second one I bought had to be replaced, there was an issue with the stage 2 location making a noise but like always, hassel free exchange through Amazon. Was probably made on a Friday, just my luck but I wouldnt hesitate to buy another if needed.

Got this unit and sharpened all my kitchen knives. Easy to use and the Knives as as sharp as new. Good Deal.

We owned the larger model, which we sold when we downsized to a smaller house and kitchen. I missed it for years. Recently we bought this smaller model and think that it works just as well as the top of the line model. It may take a bit longer to hone a sharp edge, but it's worth it to have safer knives that slice tomatoes effortlessly. Dull knives are maddening and unsafe. This little machine improves time in the kitchen by making slicing and dicing easier, neater and safer.

Just received this knife sharpener. Chef's Choice 250. Nice smaller size unit, fits easily on counter top, not to heavy. Flip button to turn on, runs quiet. Run knives 20 years old, never sharpened to my knowledge. 3 times through on each side then the finishing wheel. Knives as sharp as new. So easy. I am really impressed. Great little knife sharpener.

Convenient, sturdy, grinds and honesty well. Leaves a smooth edge easily maintained with a steel.

Might be that my knives were/are just very dull. I was expecting more after reading all the good reviews. Did an okay job but I had to run my knives through two times to get them even a little sharper and they're still not very sharp. Wish I would have returned it.

My knives are a pleasure to use again! I had one of these that had finally lost its effectiveness after many years. This is a terrific product I am just leaving on the counter next to the knives. After they have been sharpened, a touchup before use makes them like new.
