Thank you for the question. We label this game "traditional" as the author developed it prior the Second Vatican Council. That said, the information contained is simply basic Catholic teaching. Not necessarily. While it is designed to be compatible with a Trivia Pursuit board, the box includes suggested ways of playing without the board.
