STL360HB Super Stealth lighting fixures
I purchased 2 STL360HB Super Stealth lighting fixures for the front and rear of my house in April, 2014. I purchased the actual lights for the fixure at Costco (the Par38 spotlight - 90 watt / uses 18 watt weatherproof indoor/outdoor - 25,000 hour) for $14.00 x 2 or $28.00). It is important to confirm the unit uses a generic light(s) as I have been trapped into replacing light bulbs with company manufactured bulbs for their unit only at exorbitant pricing. These lights shine out a couple hundred feet and are more than adequate as a security light. This unit is prewired and as a novice I can assure you that it is quite easy to install. I simply used the existing front and rear switches for the garage light in the front and the garage door light in the rear. The sensitivity to motion in the backyard during the dark to dawn period is adjustable. Our little 20 pound dog activates the light about 50 feet when we let him out at night. I have it set to stay on for 10 minutes after no motion is detected. He loves the light. That's good enough for me.I have used other security lights with varied degrees of disappointment. They generally break down after a few months due to failure within the motion detector. Now, after 18 months of continued use with perfect reliability; I can ascertain that this is a funtional; high end unit that holds up under a variety of weather conditions. And, now at 18 months later I just purchased 2 more fixures for use at both ends of the house. These were a little more difficult to install as I needed to tap into a hot wire in both ends of the attic and install a switch (also installed a plug-in for later installation of security camera). I am completely pleased with this light fixure. (See Utube for video to do a light switch / plug installation.) I know that this unit costs a little more; however, sometimes paying for quality is the least expensive option when you consider long-term, reliable ownership. Al.

RAB Stealth 360 Motion Sensor Lights
I don't have any other brand to compare the RAB lights to so this is based on my observations on this light alone. So far in the small amount of time I have had the RAB lights, they are working extremely well. Not sure if they were worth the $90 I purchased them for but the warranty is excellent and time will tell if the lights last. I bought 3 RAB Stealth 360 lights, 2 for the back yard and 1 for the front. Very sensitive to movement even with the sensor sensitivity turned down a little. The adjustment for the amount of time the lights stay on could be better. Its just trial and error and small turn at a time until you get the time where you want it. I figured 1 minute would be good. The lights will stay on if it continues to sense motion and I noticed the lights coming on when a small cat on occasion enters the back yard. When I walk in the backyard, both lights come on with one light sensing my movement from about 45 feet away. I have not tested the 70 feet claim the lights have. The light housing is metal but a little on the thin side but an acceptable thickness for what they do.The sensor and connecting arm to the sensor are plastic and I feel like I need to be careful when adjusting the sensor. Everything you need comes with the lights with exception of the wiring in the attic of course. I mounted all 3 lights under the eave of the house. I ran 12-3 wire to each and then to the breaker panel with a separate breaker.

Worth the money
After reading all the sketchy reviews of cheaper outdoor lights, I decided to go with this one instead because I really hate changing these things out every few years. It was definitely worth the money and very solidly built. Installation kit was all inclusive and product works great. It may be a nitpick, but I really liked the hanger included to hold the light while doing the wiring and thought the plastic setting tool (instead of using a screwdriver) was a nice touch as well.

Good light but wished worked with LED bulbs
Bought a 2 pack and working great. But company does not recommend an LED bulb to use in them.

Fantast Item!!!
They are the best on the market! This is the second set of 2 I've purchased and they work perfectly! I sold my lake house and left them on it because they lit up the property from a great distance. They work equally as well on my new home and stay on for exactly 12 minutes just as I have them set. Great product!!!
